We have received segregation bins to support our efforts towards achieving 100% waste segregation in Roing Urban Town.

Heartfelt thanks to PHED, Roing Division for supporting our cause and strengthening the vision of Swachh Bharat Mission in both our rural and urban areas.

Together, let’s keep Roing clean and green. 🌿

Cleanliness Drive Done Near Keraa Jubilee Ground

15/08/2026

This Independence Day 🇮🇳 , I have a slightly different definition of Desh Bhakti.

For me, patriotism is not only about remembering the sacrifices made for our freedom. It is also about asking ourselves what we are doing with the freedom we inherited.

I believe "Desh bhakti" begins with "Civic Sense".

When we segregate our waste, we are taking responsibility.
When we don't litter our roads, we are respecting our community.
When we protect our rivers, forests and public spaces, we are protecting our country.
When we volunteer to clean our neighbourhood, we are serving our nation.

A soldier serves the country by protecting its borders. We, as citizens, can serve it by taking responsibility for what is within our borders.

This is what GREEN ROING means to us.

It is not merely about collecting garbage or making our town look clean. It is about building a generation that understands that our surroundings are our responsibility.

Because a clean India cannot be created by the government alone.
It is created when citizens develop the habit of caring.

My India is not only the land I am proud to belong to.
It is the home I am responsible for. 🇮🇳

On this Independence Day, let us celebrate freedom by becoming better citizens.

Jai Hind. 🇮🇳
Vande Mataram.
