AMYAA Society for social transformation was registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 on June 28 2002 with its head office at Mayu-II, Roing of Lower Dibang Valley District. On 24th September, 2014 Branch Office was established at Diyun of Changlang District for implementation of NERCORMP-III project funded by North East Council (NEC). This society is established with the vision to comb

at poverty, illiteracy, ill health, corruption, injustice and suppression of the poor. It aims at supporting the backward tribal communities to become self-sustainable and self-reliant.

Empowering Idu Mishmi Women Weavers:

Team AMYAA (NGO) visits Denlo Village, Lower Dibang Valley District, Arunachal Pradesh, and engages with local weavers to discuss the establishment of a Royal Enfield CSR-supported weaving centre. This initiative aims to: benefit 30 women in weaving and tailoring, create employment opportunities for 4-5 local youths, and promote Idu Mishmi traditional threads and unity. Royal Enfield CSR and AMYAA (NGO) will provide support for this Himalayan initiative.

Empowering Women, Empowering Society - Give & Gain

NABARD, Roing in collaboration with AMYAA (NGO) celebrated International Women's Day on March 7, 2026, with the theme "Give to Gain". The event was graced by Chief Guest Smti Nuri Mihu, GPC, Maselo Village, and Special Guest Smti Gracy Linggi, ADO, along with Guests of Honour Shri Sandeep Kumar and Shri Nitya Mili. The program began with a warm welcome and inspiring speeches from the guests, focusing on women's empowerment, financial security, and leadership roles. Nitya Mili highlighted the importance of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, while Sandeep Kumar discussed pension schemes like Atal Pension Yojana. Gracy Linggi encouraged women to be bold and fight for their rights, and Nuri Mihu shared her initiatives as a Panchayat leader, inviting women and youth to contribute to village development. The event concluded with outdoor activities, prize distribution, and a group photo session, making it a successful celebration of women's strength and resilience.

From visiting weavers to understand their needs, collaborating with our designer on new product development, planning the upcoming shop launch with our market partner, and gaining valuable insights from Mishmi Mosaic – Skills to Market, each step focused on building sustainable livelihood opportunities for local artisans.

Together, we continue working towards empowering weavers and strengthening market linkages.
