महाभारत का सम्पूर्ण पठान पूर्ण। स्वर्गारोहण पर्व में कुल २१८ श्लोक हैं । कार्ष्णवेद के अंत में ये दो महत्वपूर्ण श्लोक:-

काल: पचति भूतानि सर्वण्येव महामते ।
कालपाशम अहं मन्ये त्वमपि दृष्टुमृहसी ।।

धर्मे च अर्थे च कामे च मोक्षे च भारतर्षभ ।
यदिहाअस्ति न चान्यत्र यनेहास्ति न कुत्र चित ।।
