*🌿 Happy Harela! 🌿*

Dear Students, Volunteers, and Members of Hitaloka Foundation,

On this auspicious festival of *Harela,* I extend my heartfelt wishes to each one of you and your families. May this beautiful festival bring prosperity, happiness, good health, and harmony into your lives.

I would also like to congratulate all of you for participating in our plantation drive. By planting a tree, you have not only celebrated Harela but also taken a meaningful step toward protecting our environment and securing a better future for the generations to come.

A humble request to each one of you: *Please take care of the plant you have planted.* Water it regularly, protect it from animals and damage, and help it grow into a strong tree. Planting a tree is only the beginning; nurturing it is our true responsibility.

Trees are the lifeline of our planet. They provide us with oxygen, purify the air, reduce pollution, and support countless birds and animals. Forests help attract rainfall in areas facing drought and water scarcity. In regions that receive heavy rainfall, the roots of trees bind the soil together, reducing erosion and helping prevent devastating landslides and floods. They maintain ecological balance, regulate the climate, and make the Earth a healthier place for all living beings.

Today we celebrate Harela, one of the most cherished festivals of Uttarakhand. Harela symbolizes the arrival of the monsoon, the beginning of a new agricultural season, and our deep bond with nature. On this auspicious day, we sow seeds, worship Mother Earth, and pray for happiness, prosperity, good health, and a bountiful harvest.
Harela reminds us to protect our environment, plant more trees, and live in harmony with nature. May this beautiful festival bring peace, joy, and new beginnings to everyone.
With the youth of swala (our ngo-branch) we have planted a neem, lemon and bayleaf tree.🙏🙏in the future we will plant a lot more trees in the mountainarea....

Last sunday we had a gathering for my dear friend Myriam Vuylsteke ❤️who celebrated her 10 years anniversary of suriyame.

For that occasion we we're invited to join to promote and support our ngo.

It was soooo beautiful and pure, the sacred havan ceremony for ganesh was lovingly guidid by my dear friend Simone Weber ❤️
Being surrounded by loving, kind people we enjoyed this celebration so much.😇🥰😍

about a month a go we opened our new branch of our ngo in swala..
The local youth asked us in the last meeting there to organize some activities for/with them.
They asked for computer, handicraft, english classes and yoga.
We love to see them happy, and enjoying everything we offer.
And that is our main goal....bringing love, happiness, empowerment, aducation to lift them up to adult who are powerfull, and confident.

We are so gratefull for the help from our belgian friends who are supporting us. Without them it wouldn't be possible!❤️
