Today, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a was organized at District Hospital Reasi in collaboration with the Red Cross Society and Youth Brigade Welfare Society (Regd.), Reasi.

A total of 25 units of blood were donated by the selfless volunteers of Reasi.

Heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers for their noble contribution!

An awareness and session was organized by the Youth Brigade Welfare Society on the 'Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013' at Salal Power Station, Jyoti Puram NHPC on 03/05/2024. The session was conducted for all employees to create awareness about the POSH Act. . A team from the Youth Brigade provided detailed information about the Act through presentations and videos.

Event: Inauguration of the Fourth
Saksham Livelihood & Skill Development Programme for Unemployed Poor Adolescent Girls and Women in Reasi

Today, the Saksham Livelihood & Skill Development Programme, under the CSR-SD initiative of NHPC Limited, was inaugurated by Ms. Poonam Jha, General Manager of Salal Power Station, along with senior management members Mr. Satyawan Bhukal, Mr. Rajiv Deori, and Mr. Naganinder Kumar of NHPC Limited, Salal Power Station, Jyoti Puram. The event took place in Village Salal, with active participation from the Youth Brigade Welfare Society (YBWS), a registered NGO based in Reasi.

As part of the programme, 30 beneficiaries will receive six months of free tailoring and cutting training provided by YBWS. This initiative is part of a larger CSR-SD project aimed at empowering 240 females across eight different centers in the Reasi district. The programme is designed to enhance women's livelihood opportunities by equipping them with valuable skills in tailoring and cutting.

This initiative is commendable and reflects the dedication of both NHPC Limited and the Youth Brigade Welfare Society towards female empowerment and community development.
