Though the main focused area of agriculture in Rural World accounts 54.6% of total employment yet people of the communities struggle for getting the basic amenities. Who can serve better services to them? How we can nurture the Rural communities?
School of Rural Management,(SRM) Group promoted by KRIBHCO and Managed by Gramin Vikas Trust (Social Face of KRIBHCO, please visit www.gvtindia.org for more details about GVT and SRM) addresses the questions raised above. It takes the responsibility for developing future rural managers with appropriate skills and abilities.
SRM blended it's vast experience of community based participatory development in rural areas under Two years Full Time AICTE approved PGDM course on Rural Planning and Management. The course is more focused on Rural Enterprises Development.

One of the biggest problem in present rural development arena is the lack of managerial skill in the implementing agencies work in grass-root level. We have adequate resources,zeal and intent to bring- in change in quality of life of rural community but there is a scarcity of professionals with effective managerial skill. Keeping this in mind KRIBHCO and Gramin Vikas Trust has come up with School of Rural Management which will offer Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management(AICTE approved) to produce individuals with better understanding of rural management and planning.
