You’ll work on:
✅ PMKKKY implementation in the district
✅ Coordination with line departments
✅ Project planning, budgeting and reporting
✅ Leading a team and engaging stakeholders

You bring:
🎓 Master’s or B.Tech degree
🏛️ 3+ years’ experience, including working with the government
📘 Basic understanding of government schemes and governance

Do you know what “Defensive Attribution” is?
Imagine someone meets with an accident. Instead of thinking, “This could happen to me too,” we may instinctively look for a reason that separates us from the victim:
“They were careless.”
“They should have been more careful.”
“That would never happen to me.”
This is Defensive Attribution — a psychological bias where observers explain a misfortune in a way that reduces their own fear of becoming a victim or experiencing a similar event.
By assigning blame, we convince ourselves that negative events are controllable, preventable, and unlikely to happen to us.
Why does our mind do this?
🧠 It protects us from anxiety — “If I avoid their mistake, I’ll be safe.”
🎯 It creates a sense of control — “The accident happened because they did something wrong.”
🛡️ It creates psychological distance — “Their situation is different from mine.”
⚠️ But there’s a catch:
Sometimes, not every misfortune has a simple cause—and believing that it does can make us less empathetic and less prepared for risks that could affect anyone.
A better response
Instead of asking:
❌ “What did they do wrong?”
Try asking:
✅ “What can I learn from what happened—and what can we do to prevent something similar?”
Understanding defensive attribution helps us replace blame with empathy, awareness and prevention.

We are gratified to join hands with the West Singhbhum Police (Jharkhand) in such a noble & benchmark effort of , under which 31 Police Stations of the West Singhbhum district are serving not just obligations under the duties, but also the to local communities, amidst the terrifying wave of scorching sun.

Such a generous effort from the police will definitely bridge the gap between the police and communities in a rebel-hit district like West Singhbhum.
