What you see: Children sitting on the floor of a small room.
What we see: Children stepping into a space that belongs to them — a child-friendly learning centre where their voices, dreams, and rights come first.
This is Kilkari, a Bal Mitra Panchayat initiative by Bal Kalyan Sangh. Look closer at the walls, and you'll find the real curriculum: murals reminding every child that education is a right, that child labour and child marriage have no place in their future, and that their safety and voice matter. A "Library Corner" invites them to read. A tree of dreams asks them to write down what they hope to become.
These aren't just decorations — they're daily affirmations. In a room with a wobbling fan and hand-painted walls, children are learning to dream bigger, speak up, and believe their village can change because they will lead that change.
Because every child deserves a space to just be a child — safe, heard, and hopeful.
