Pestalozzi Children's Education Society, Ranchi

Pestalozzi Children's Education Society, Ranchi This is where the transformation begins and within a span of a few months, they are ready to take the challenges of the best of schools in our city.

We, PCES, Ranchi is a community by itself, reaching out to meritorious underprivileged children from semi urban and rural areas of the states of Jharkhand and Bihar. The society was constituted in 2018 with the purpose to serve the children from the land that we belong, provide them with all support and amenities, to nurture and make world citizens out of them. A stringent screening process helps

us in identifying and selecting children who deserve to be a part of this community Their journey with Pestalozzi starts with arriving at the Foundation House, where they are introduced to the ways of life at out community. The house presently blessed with 25 girls,7 boys from 3 consecutive batches and 7 orphans. So 42 in total. We expect to add another 12 children by this March.

Here is Sonali, confidently handling monetary responsibilities with ease. It’s heartening to see our children not only excelling in academics but also gaining practical exposure to real-life skills.By managing the imprest money, Sonali is learning the value of accountability, independence, and trust. This is an important step towards leadership and we are proud to see her taking it with such maturity.

We were very happy to welcome Mr. Rudradeo Kumar and Mr. Manoj Jaiswal to our Vivekananda Pestalozzi House Centre.
Both of them spent time with our children and were glad to see the work being done at Pestalozzi. Their encouraging words and warm interaction with the children truly touched us. Visits like these strengthen our resolve and remind us how important our mission is.

Hailing from Ithe, Khunti, Akash started his education at Raj Utkrimit Vidyalaya. In 2018, he joined Pestalozzi Children’s Education Society, and from there his path led him to Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie.
Over the years, Akash has grown remarkably not just in spoken English and academics, but also in imbibing strong values and life lessons that will guide him forever.
His love for football flourished at Wynberg Allen, where he became part of the team that made history at the St. George’s College , Mussoorie, Heritage Cup (Jackie Memorial) Football Tournament on August 14, 2025.
After a gap of 52 years, Wynberg Allen lifted the coveted trophy, defeating Navchetan Sports Club by two goals in the grand finale. With more than 25 schools and clubs participating, this victory is etched in Mussoorie’s sporting history.
Akash’s journey from a small school in Khunti to being part of this historic win is a shining example of Pestalozzi’s mission nurturing potential, building character, and creating opportunities for children to excel in every sphere of life.

Nandini’s Inspiring Journey

From a small school in Hazaribagh to the prestigious Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie, Nandini’s journey has been filled with challenges, struggles, and valuable learning.
Having lost her parents early in life, she was lovingly cared for by her maternal family. In 2018, she became a part of Pestalozzi Children’s Education Society, where her potential was nurtured and her dreams found direction.
Recently, Nandini proudly represented Wynberg Allen School at an Inter-School Competition held at Mayo Girls college Ajmer, where her team secured the second position.
Her story beautifully reflects the vision of Pestalozzi – to empower girls through education and create opportunities that shape confident leaders of tomorrow.
We remain deeply grateful to Wynberg Allen School for sponsoring her education and supporting her entire journey in Mussoorie.
Nandini’s achievement is not just her own it stands as a reminder of what every child can accomplish when given the right guidance and opportunities. 🌸
