We proudly celebrate the achievement of Mr. Sumit Kumar Mishra (B.Tech, MME, 2014–2018), who has secured a Group-A, Level-10 Gazetted Officer position in the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Hailing from Pattitola village in the Madhubani district of Bihar, his journey stands as a true testament to perseverance, hard work, and determination. During his time at college, he was not only an excellent student academically but also an active and inspiring presence in the Industrial Liaison Cell (ILC).

“In the diverse and dynamic environment of college, everyone—regardless of their background—has the potential to excel, especially with the guidance of faculty and seniors who are always ready to support,” said Sumit Mishra.

Sumit’s inspiring story is a beacon of determination and excellence, motivating the entire NIAMT community to aim higher and achieve their own aspirations. His journey encourages us all to strive for success and continue to push beyond our limits.

✨ Anusmriti Sangam: Reunion of the 1996–2000 Batch at NIAMT ✨

On the 18th of July, NIAMTAA had the honor of hosting a heartwarming reunion for the 1996–2000 batch. A total of 22 esteemed alumni, along with their beloved retired professor, graced the campus.🧑🏻‍🎓

The celebration began with the traditional lighting of the diya 🪔, followed by a series of cultural performances that lit up the day. 🎭🎶

But the highlight? The enthusiastic participation of the alumni themselves, who took us all back in time with their lively and nostalgic performances—almost as if they had stepped right back into their B.Tech days, 25 years ago! 🔙🎉

The alumni also shared their journeys, experiences, and invaluable insights with the students during an interactive session.

A delightful lunch was organized in their honor, followed by a friendly cricket match—a perfect blend of fun and nostalgia! 🏏🥳The alumni also took a sentimental walk down memory lane, visiting their old hostels and reliving moments that once shaped their youth. 🏠💭

This reunion was not just an event—it was an emotion. A truly unforgettable day made possible by the wholehearted support of our professors, dedicated students, and the vibrant spirit of our alumni. 🌟💙

We are delighted to share glimpses from today’s engaging mentorship session, featuring two of our accomplished alumni from the 2016–2020 batch — Ms. Kashish Sharma (MME), MBA from IIM Kozhikode, who will be joining BP-Castrol this summer; and Mr. Abhinav Navin Sinha (ME), MBA from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, currently serving in the Indian Audits and Accounts Department.

They shared insightful experiences from their academic and professional journeys, offering honest reflections, practical advice, and real-life examples that left a lasting impact on everyone present.

We’re taking a major step forward by registering NIAMTAA as a Public Charitable Trust to strengthen our impact and long-term vision. After careful consideration of options like the Societies Act and Section 8 Company, the Trust model emerged as the most suitable for our goals.

We’re forming a dedicated Board of Trustees and invite respected individuals, professionals, and community leaders from Ranchi or around the NIAMT campus to join us.
We seek committed leaders with integrity, vision, and a passion for supporting NIAMT and its community.

Any suggestions related to constitution draft will be highly acknowledged.
