Q-BIT was born "Quizotica"on April 4,2008 as an Intra Hostel Quizzing Club. It was an initiative of Ashwyn Chandrashekar and Tanmay Agarwal(TEAM QED) both sophomores. Soon, they were joined by Sneha Ranjan & Prabhakar Kumar and due to the overwhelming response shown by the quizzing enthusiasts, on 5th November 2008 they decided to take the club to pan-BIT level,rechristening it as - Q-BIT and star
ted the blog. Daily Trivia's started getting uploaded regularly on the blog along with the frequent quizzes in hostels and college festivals. When the blog became famous throughout the colleges in India, Q-BIT's page was created for updates on events, links to trivia and photos on July 24th 2010. In 2011, Q-BIT was merged with UNESQO Club to form UNESQUO Club. However, Q-BIT retained its individual name and branding. It has grown to include more than 15 enthusiastic members.
