TED.com currently has a library of over 600 amazing talks of such high quality that the site has become the platinum standard for innovation in digital storytelling.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx - local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

Speakers includes people from different strata of society, industries, businessman, lawyers, bureaucrats, sportsman, media etc.
