Blood Donation Camp Organised at Town Hall, Ramnagar
Ramnagar, Udhampur (JKUT), January 11, 2026:
The Progressive Youth Forum, in collaboration with Saviours – The Blood Organisation, Ramnagar Updates, and Narsing Seva Dal, successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp today at Town Hall, Ramnagar.
The camp was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, the Worthy Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ramnagar, while the Tehsildar Ramnagar graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Several other respected dignitaries and social activists were also present and extended their encouragement to this noble humanitarian cause.
A total of 61 voluntary blood donors came forward and donated blood during the camp, reflecting a strong spirit of social responsibility and compassion among the people of Ramnagar.
The organising bodies expressed their sincere gratitude to all the donors, guests, medical staff, volunteers, and the local administration for their valuable cooperation and support in making the camp a grand success. As a mark of appreciation, the Organising Committee felicitated all blood donors by presenting them with certificates and mementos. The organisers reaffirmed their commitment to continue organising such welfare initiatives in the future to save lives and serve society.

The Progressive Youth Forum team members visited the house of Suraj Singh, resident of Ward No. 3, Village Dalsar, Ramnagar, whose house was damaged due to heavy rainfall on 26.09.2025. The team, including Vishal Singh and Vicky Singh Bandral and other members, has been continuously visiting Suraj Singh’s home and providing him with all possible assistance whenever required. Today again, the Progressive Youth Forum extended further help by providing him ₹21,000 and a tent.
Progressive Youth Forum team member Advocate Anoop Singh urged the SDM Ramnagar to provide every possible support to Suraj Singh for the reconstruction of his damaged house and to include his name under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

In continuation of our relief drive for the distribution of dry ration and tents among families affected by heavy rainfall, the Progressive Youth Forum (PYF) team today reached Katwalt in Ramnagar, District Udhampur. Dry ration and tents were distributed to more than sixty families in Upper Katwalt and Lower Katwalt. The team assured the people that every possible support will be extended to them in the future whenever required. PYF extends heartfelt thanks to all contributors for their valuable support. The Members who were present during the distribution of ration were Vishal Singh, Ranjeet singh, Nitish Verma and Vishaw deep singh besides others.
