Kalptaru Vrikshmitr Ramnagar is a group of dedicated nature lovers who have joined hands for the cause of environment conservation in Ramnagar city of Nainital district, renowned worldwide for Jim Corbett National Park. The group consists of serving & retired govt officers, businessmen, teachers and persons from other professions. We've planted trees in & around Ramnagar. Our functioning is very s
imple. On normal days we look after our trees. We water them, provide manure, pesticide, protect them from animals etc. On specific days like the Earth day, Environment day, Independence day, republic day, van mahotsav etc we go for plantation. Apart from this, we plant minimum five saplings on the birthday, anniversary or any memorable day of any of the group members or their family member. We also hold save environment, clean Ramnagar, Green Ramnagar rally on important events/occasions. We prefer to involve more n more students in our programs so that they become aware of the importance of environment conservation at an early age. In near future, we plan to run 'Beautify Ramnagar' & 'Plastic free Ramnagar' campaign. We hope to involve and get the support of community in these campaigns. The group is moving ahead with full enthusiasm & hope to work for environment conservation in & around Ramnagar.
