Roshani foundation is working in the rural and far-flung areas of District Ramban J&K. The organization is engaged to conduct various awareness programs related to Child Rights, Women empowerment, Digital Literacy, health, education, income generation. Roshani Foundation is also working for the formation of Community Level youth groups, organization has organized various Awareness Camps Collaboration with Social Welfare Department, Integrated Child Protection Services, Integrated Child Development Services, Drug De Addiction Programs along with local administration, Awareness Cum Medicine distribution Programs along with Ministry of Ayush, Vocational Training programs, Computer training classes and Cutting tailoring Classes in district Ramban. The organization is working in the field to aware the peoples of District about the various schemes of government and to give every possible support to weaker section of the society. Child Marriage free Bharat Campaign held at Digdol Ramban.

District Child Protection Unit Ramban,Child Helpline in coordination with Roshani foundation conduct an Awareness Program at Digdol Ramban.

Under the supervision and directions of District Child Protection Officer Mr. Sahil Bagotra, an awareness programme on the prevention of child marriage was organized at Digdole Maroge, Ramban, in collaboration with Child Helpline Ramban and Roshni Foundation, Ramban.

The objective of the programme was to sensitize the local community about child marriage, its legal provisions, and its harmful social, medical, and psychological consequences, and to promote awareness regarding child protection laws.
Mr. Vikram Singh Raju, Legal-cum-Probation Officer, addressed the gathering and explained the legal consequences and provisions related to child marriage, emphasizing the role of community participation in prevention.

Mr. Mudasir Jaral, Project Coordinator, Childline, highlighted the medical and developmental risks associated with child marriage.

Ms. Tanveera Akhter, Counsellor, District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Ramban, spoke about the psychological and emotional impact of early marriage on children, particularly girls, including trauma, stress, and disruption of education.
Ms. Rosy Firdous, Protection Officer (Institutional Care), attended the programme and extended her support.

The programme was successfully organized through the dedicated efforts of Mr. Sanjeet Singh, Supervisor, Childline, who coordinated all arrangements and ensured smooth conduct of the programme.

Other participants , Ms. Nishu Drora Panchayat Secretary, GRS Sanjeev Rajwal and Anganwadi Worker digdole who actively supported the programme.

The programme concluded with an interactive session, during which community members were informed about reporting mechanisms, including Child Helpline 1098.

Overall, the programme was conducted successfully and contributed to enhancing awareness and strengthening community engagement towards the prevention of child marriage.

Residents and beneficiaries of Anganwadi Centre Bhatyari were aware about different schemes of the Social Welfare department which includes, SMAS, Old age Pension, Widow Pension, Scholarships, Sponsorship, Child Protection Service, One stop centre for Women's, ICDS and DHEW.
Child helpline Counsellor Mrs Pooja Devi educates people, especially children, about their rights and the laws that protect them. She explained that children have the right to education, healthcare, and protection from harm.
Zaheer Abas supervisor CHL aware participants that child marriage is illegal and can have serious consequences for the child's health, education, and well-being.
Arti Devi (Paramedical) explains to them about One Stop Centre (OSC) She said that One stop centre is intended to support women affected by violence, in private and public spaces, within the family, community and at the workplace.
Those Women facing physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and economic abuse, irrespective of age, class, caste, education status, marital status, race and culture will be facilitated with support and redressal.
During the program Hand wash Activity were also held, residents, parents and caretakers play an important role in teaching children to wash their hands. Handwashing can become a lifelong healthy habit if you start teaching it at an early age said by Kajal Devi AWW.
Arti Devi (Paramedical Person) explained to the kids five easy steps for handwashing and the key times to wash hands.
Moreover, they inform children about the Child Helpline 1098, a toll-free service that provides assistance and support to children in distress.
