THE VISION IS NO LONGER ON PAPER. IT’S IN THE ROOM.

And GDPMUN has officially begun.

The inaugural ceremony of GDPMUN — Global Diplomacy Peace Model United Nations marked the beginning of a two-day journey where Vision meets Diplomacy, Dialogue meets Debate, and Ideas move towards Action.

A joint venture between IEEE GCET Student Branch and IPMUN, GDPMUN brings together technology, global affairs, leadership and diplomacy on one platform.

But the real beginning wasn’t the lighting of the lamp.

It was the moment hundreds of young minds walked into the room ready to question, negotiate, collaborate and lead.

Because the future doesn’t belong to those who simply understand the world.

It belongs to those who are willing to engage with it.

Welcome to GDPMUN.

Bring Vision Home.

NEP 2020 cannot remain a document on a shelf.
It has to come alive in the lives of students.

And that’s exactly where experiential learning matters.

A classroom can teach a student about diplomacy.

But put that student in a room with 100+ young people, give them a country to represent, a global problem to solve and a microphone to defend their position—

and suddenly, learning becomes real.

This is what we are building through IPMUN.

Not simply conferences.

But experiences where students practise communication, critical thinking, negotiation, collaboration, leadership and global citizenship.

We’re proud to see Dailyhunt – Punjab Bytes highlight this journey and the larger conversation around how schools can bring Global Citizenship Education into the spirit of NEP 2020.

Because the future of education isn’t about choosing between knowledge and skills.

It is about turning knowledge into capability.

And if we want responsible global citizens tomorrow,

we have to give students the opportunity to practise being one today.

The classroom is changing.

And we’re here to help move it forward.

POV: You’re an MUN delegate… in the 1980s. 📞📜

No ChatGPT.
No laptops.
No WhatsApp groups.
No Google Docs.

Just:

📚 Hours in the library
⌨️ Drafting resolutions at 2 AM
📞 Calling. Faxing. Writing letters.
🗂️ Briefing notes thicker than your textbook
☕ Coffee keeping the delegation alive

And somehow…

THE DIPLOMACY WAS STILL DIPLOMACY. 🌍

Different decade.
Different technology.
Same global mindset.

Because MUN was never really about the laptops, the conference halls or the Wi-Fi.

It was always about ideas, people, diplomacy and the courage to speak.

The tools changed.

The purpose didn’t.

Welcome to MUN Life — 1980s Edition. 📻🌍

It started with an idea. Today, it is becoming a movement.

What began as a student-led vision to create meaningful spaces for young people has grown into something much bigger than a Model United Nations conference.

IPMUN is now a growing youth leadership ecosystem.

And seeing this journey featured by The Republic News—alongside the story of how Vasu Patel and Harsh*ta Joshi have built IPMUN—is a deeply meaningful moment.

But the headline isn’t really about us.

It is about the thousands of young people who have walked into an IPMUN room, found their voice, challenged an idea, made a friend, led a discussion and walked out a little more confident than when they entered.

That is the story we want to keep writing.

From student initiative → youth leadership movement.

And honestly?

We are only getting started.

Thank you to The Republic News for telling our story.

Before we learned to lead, someone taught us how to believe in ourselves.

Before the first achievement,
before the first stage,
before the first dream—

there was a teacher.

A teacher who didn’t just teach lessons from a book, but taught us to ask questions, make mistakes, try again and become better than we were yesterday.

Today, IPMUN celebrates the people who quietly shape the leaders of tomorrow.

To every teacher who has ever said, “You can do better.”
Thank you for believing in us before we believed in ourselves.

Happy Teacher’s Day. ❤️

The greatest teachers don’t just teach.
They leave an impact.

THIS IS HOW AN IPMUN CONFERENCE BEGINS. 🌍✨

Not with a registration form.
Not with a placard.

But with a room full of young minds, big ambitions, and voices ready to be heard.

The grand opening of IPMUN Anand 6.0 was more than a ceremony.

It was the beginning of three days of diplomacy, debate, leadership, networking, learning and unforgettable memories.

From distinguished guests and inspiring addresses to hundreds of students stepping into the world of global diplomacy…

this wasn’t just an opening.
It was a statement.

And here’s the exciting part:

This experience isn’t limited to Anand. 👀

IPMUN is taking the experience of global diplomacy, leadership and youth empowerment to students across cities.

So if you’re watching this from Jamnagar. Rajkot. Ahmedabad. Gandhidham. Vadodara. Pune. Bangalore. Vizag you are next

Your IPMUN story could be next.

What happens when 500+ young minds walk into one room with one thing in common?

They leave thinking differently. 🌍

IPMUN Anand 6.0 wasn’t just a Model United Nations conference.

It was three days of ideas, diplomacy, ambition, disagreement, collaboration, confidence and countless moments that reminded us why youth leadership matters.

From a distinguished former Ambassador sharing decades of diplomatic experience…

To students taking the microphone and defending positions they had researched for days…

From the first handshake to the final resolution…

This was more than a conference.
It was a room full of future possibilities.

And somewhere between the speeches, negotiations and late-night preparations, something beautiful happened:

Students stopped being spectators.
They became participants in the world they want to shape.

To every delegate, parent, mentor, Executive Board member, volunteer, partner and member of the IPMUN family who made Anand 6.0 possible—

this one belongs to you. ❤️

The stage may be coming down.

The memories may slowly become stories.

But the voices?

They’re only getting louder.

🌍 IPMUN Anand 6.0
Learn. Lead. Leave Impact.

Until the next one…
