At SAMAVESH , we believe learning needs more than a classroom. It needs a space where young people feel welcome, curious and confident about their future.

Our SAMAVESH Learning Centres are becoming just that, spaces where young people come together to learn, explore and grow.

From academic support and digital skills to career conversations, mentoring, life skills and exposure to new opportunities, the Centre creates an environment where young people can ask questions, discover their strengths and imagine possibilities beyond what they may have previously known.

For many first-generation college goers, access to such spaces, resources and guidance can make a meaningful difference in their educational journey.

We are building our SAMAVESH Learning Centres as spaces of learning, opportunity and belonging, rooted in the community and shaped by the aspirations of young people.

Because sometimes, opportunity begins simply with having the right space to learn.

On his birth anniversary today (3 January 1903 – 20 March 1970), we remember his vision that continues to inspire us to build institutions that listen to the margins and uphold constitutional equality in practice.

On her birth anniversary today (3 January 1831 – 10 March 1897), her legacy continues to inspire our daily work to turn learning into dignity, access, and freedom for those kept at the margins.

At Samavesh as we embark on a new mentoring cohort under the Samavesh Scholars Program, we begin with one core belief: mentoring must be personal, consistent, and rooted in trust.

Our approach is deliberate and hands-on; deep engagement and one-on-one support over time.

We sit across the table with each student, listen without judgement, map their next step, and walk with them as they move ahead with clarity, confidence, and direction.

Constitution Day (2025) Celebrations at Samavesh

Today, on 26th November, we proudly celebrated Samvidhan Diwas the historic day when India adopted its Constitution under the visionary leadership of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

Babasaheb inspired generations to believe in the power of education, equality, and constitutional rights. His life continues to remind us that true freedom is achieved when every individual especially those pushed to the margins gets dignity, opportunity, and justice.

At Samavesh, Babasaheb’s vision guides our mission every single day. His words “Be educated, be organized, be agitated” remain the foundation of our work with learners, community fellows, and grassroots leaders.

We organised a special learning session for our Samavesh Fellows on Values, Rights & Responsibilities, led by Sandeep Kamble, Samavesh Fellow, who is doing remarkable grassroots work.

During the session, Sandeep shared his reflections on how the Constitution is not just a legal document but a moral blueprint for social transformation. He reminded us that: “Every citizen must carry the Constitution in their mind and spirit not only in books. The true tribute to Babasaheb is ensuring rights reach the last person in society.”
