Member of Parivaar (The National Confederation of Parent’s Organisation). Hope provides children with Intellectual Disabilities an opportunity to le
arn the basic skills needed for living. It empowers them to be more able & make them capable to be mainstreamed with the society. The monogram was Designed by Dr. D.S. Bhangu where it shows that a child with disability, they cannot walk properly and even there hands are not functioning sometimes well and initially they cannot keep there head straight and that after we work with the children, they will jump with joy and feel free like bird and walk in society with head straight. HOPE, an organization for the welfare of persons with intellectual disability, was founded in 2001 by group of Doctors and group of parents, under the guidance and encouragement of the staff, children (and their parents) of HOME & HOPE, Rourkela. Now HOPE is functioning in own building in New Colony, Ranibandh Rajgangpur Stadium. Our aim is to bring all the disabled children of this area under our protection. Our Mission:
To identify the Intellectual Disabled children, give them elementary and vocational education and to make them competent to live independently in the society. Our Patrons:

Our Objectives:
• To give guidance and support to the parents / guardians to take proper care of their differently-abled children.
• To conduct regular workshops by the eminent professionals in this field.
• To co-operate with the local, state and central bodies for fulfilling the objectives.
• To promote legislation for the welfare of the CWSN.
• To take up the issue of trustee–ship and insurance scheme for the benefit of the CWSN.
• To organize elementary education, vocational training and the rehabilitation of them. Our immediate Goals:
• To construct a Physio-therapy center, respite center, rehabilitation center etc.
• To provide elementary education, behavior modification counseling for the parents and vocational training for the children's.
• To create a network for procurement of raw materials and marketing of the finished products.
• To Construct Sheltered Workshop.
