The epitome of service provided by father and grandfather is continued by the grandson Dr.Karthick Sivasubramaniyan MD the founder of Siva Foundation, with the same motive and dedication to continue the legacy. Karthick Nursing Home, Rural Surgical Centre was founded by Dr.S.Sivasubramaniyan the founder secretary of Association of Surgeons of Rural India (ASRI) in the year 1984 serving the rural masses of Tamil Nadu in all strata of the society. The objective was to promote healthcare to the rural population at affordable costs, a new premises was inaugurated by Hon. After the demise of the founder in 2017, the dream came true on 28 Aug 2023 when Karthick Hospital, A unit of Siva Foundation was laid to action to bring back and continue the services by his son Dr.Karthick Sivasubramaniyan. The trend continues even today to bring all specialities under one umbrella which are Gastroenterology, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Urology, General Surgery, Endocrinology, General Medicine, Cardiology, Paediatric Surgery, Genetics, Neurology, Rehabilitative medicine, Reconstructive Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Surgical & Medical Oncology including Intensive care medicine.
