ఇది ఒక్క ఈ గ్రామం కథ మాత్రమే కాదు—

పంటలు పండిస్తున్నారు.
దేశాన్ని పోషిస్తున్నారు.

కానీ లాభం మాత్రం
దళారుల చేతుల్లోకే వెళ్తోంది,
అసలు కష్టపడే రైతులు
పేదరికంలోనే మిగులుతున్నారు

ప్రభుత్వ సంక్షేమ పథకాలు ఉన్నా
అవి చివరి గ్రామానికి చేరడం లేదు
