Inspection of Preparations for the Federation Cup Volleyball Championship

The 37th Federation Cup Volleyball Championship is scheduled to be held from 03 to 08 February 2026 at Late Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, Budhapara, Raipur.

In this regard, on 21 January 2026, the Volleyball Federation of India appointed two observers to review and assess the preparations for the championship. The observers included Mr. Sahiram Jakhad, International Volleyball Player from Bhilai (Chhattisgarh), and Mr. Rudra Pratap Singh, President, Madhya Pradesh Volleyball Association.

As part of the inspection, the observers visited the Indoor Stadium, SAI Training Centre, and the hotels designated for the accommodation of the participating teams. After the inspection, all arrangements were found to be satisfactory and well-organized, and special appreciation was expressed for the Indoor Stadium.

During the visit, a courtesy meeting was also held with Mr. Vikram Sisodia, Secretary General, Chhattisgarh Olympic Association, and he was briefed about the Federation Cup Championship.

On this occasion, Mr. Mahesh Gagda, Hon’ble President, Chhattisgarh State Volleyball Association; Mr. Mohammad Akram Khan, Secretary, Organizing Committee; Mr. Satendra Pandey, Senior Vice President; Mr. Hem Prakash Nayak, Secretary; Mr. Vinod Nair, International Referee; Mr. Nitin Pandey, FIVB Level–2 Coach, along with other office bearers of the Association—Mr. Janak Ram Yadav, Mr. Irfan Hayat, Mr. Rajesh Somvanshi, Mr. Santosh Singh (National Referee), Mr. Ravindra Bagi, Mr. Amrish Sharma, and other players were present.
