ISHRAE Raipur Chapter Organises Heritage Walk to Showcase Chhattisgarh’s Rich Culture

The ISHRAE Raipur Chapter had the privilege of hosting members from ISHRAE HQ and ISHRAE East Zone, who visited Raipur for 2nd RCC. Delegates from different parts of the country. To make their visit more meaningful, the chapter organised a Heritage Walk of Raipur, aimed at introducing them to the cultural depth and historic legacy of Chhattisgarh.

The walk offered participants an opportunity to explore some of the city’s timeless landmarks, narrating stories of Raipur’s vibrant past and its evolving identity. It served as a reminder that Chhattisgarh’s history is not only rich but also holds many narratives that remain unknown—or forgotten—not just by the nation, but even by the local community itself.

Through this initiative, ISHRAE Raipur sought to reconnect members with the roots of local heritage, while also highlighting the importance of preserving cultural memory in the midst of rapid urban growth. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, meaningful interactions, and a renewed appreciation for the traditions that have shaped the region.

Such cultural explorations go beyond professional gatherings, as they bring people closer to the soul of a place, fostering both knowledge and belonging. ISHRAE Raipur is proud to have taken this step in showcasing the identity of Chhattisgarh to fellow members from across India.
