Agricon Samiti A Step Towards Well Being Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti is a non-governmental organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860). D.

It works with more than 25000 families in over 500 villages in 12 districts of Chhattisgrah. CG Agricon works for ensuring agriculture based livelihoods support to poor and marginalized people. Nearly three-fourths of the families Agricon works with belong to Schedule Tribes. Agricon is in the process of expanding its activities in remote area of tribal districts. Agricon’s mission is to develop

income generating opportunities at village level through integration of natural resources. Grassroots action to promote and strengthen livelihoods for the rural poor is Agricon’s primary work focus. In all places women are central to the project interventions. The activities of the CG Agricon focus towards developing entrepreneurial skill among farmers and income generating opportunities at village level through integration of natural resources. The CG Agricon has members from different disciplines of agriculture including Agriculture graduates, post graduate and Ph. Agricon works in entire Chhattisgarh at different capacity like Resource Orgaisation for Training & Capacity building under National Horticulture Mission; PIA for NABARD Wadi project & Watershed development; Facilitator for NABARD Farmers Clubs; etc.

“स्कूल छूटना किसी बच्चे की गलती नहीं होता…
लेकिन उसे वापस स्कूल तक पहुँचाना समाज की जिम्मेदारी जरूर है।”

ग्राम पंचायत कटघरी में चलाए गए डोर-टू-डोर सर्वे अभियान के दौरान 2 ऐसे बच्चे चिन्हित हुए जिन्होंने किसी कारणवश विद्यालय जाना छोड़ दिया था। स्वयंसेवकों ने उनके अभिभावकों से संवाद कर बच्चों को पुनः शिक्षा से जोड़ने का प्रयास किया।

इसके साथ ही हाट-बाजारों में दीवार नारा लेखन के माध्यम से शिक्षा, बाल अधिकार और बाल श्रम के खिलाफ जागरूकता अभियान भी चलाया गया।

“बाल श्रम को दूर भगाओ,
हर बच्चे को स्कूल पहुँचाओ।”

इस पहल में स्वयंसेवक यस नायक एवं उदय नारायण माइति का महत्वपूर्ण सहयोग रहा।

क्योंकि हर बच्चा सिर्फ एक संख्या नहीं…
एक पूरा भविष्य है।

Par kya hum sach mein jaante hain ki mitti ko kya chahiye?

Many farmers still make fertilizer decisions without ever testing their soil.

When soil health remains invisible, farming decisions often become guesswork.

Soil testing can help farmers:
• Understand what the soil actually needs
• Reduce unnecessary input use
• Improve long-term soil health
• Make more informed cultivation decisions

This is not just about agriculture.
It is about sustainability, resilience, and strengthening rural livelihoods.

Water connects everything in a village.

The food we grow.
The health of our families.
The future of our farms.
The strength of our communities.

But across many rural regions, water sources are slowly disappearing due to irregular rainfall and changing climate patterns.

The question is no longer:
“Who will provide?”

It is:
“How will we protect?”

Sometimes, real change begins with small community actions:
・ Reviving ponds
・ Protecting traditional wells
・ Harvesting rainwater
・ Using water-saving farming practices

Because water conservation is not a one-day activity.
It becomes meaningful when it becomes part of everyday community conversations.

"हमर गांव के युवा अब सिर्फ दर्शक नहीं हैं, ओमन बदलाव के असली नायक बन गे हे।"

Meet Savitri Bhaskar from Darapal village (Bhairamgarh block)
A true testament to the power of youth leadership and community care.

Four years ago, Savitri joined as a Bijaduteer volunteer. What started as a step to build her own confidence turned into a journey of transforming her entire village. Today, she holds a Master's in Social Work (MSW) and stands as a powerful voice in her local Panchayat.

From teaching young children to leading crucial awareness sessions on nutrition, hygiene, and mental health for women and adolescent girls, Savitri is proving that real support starts locally.

"सावित्री की कहानी यह सिखाती है कि जब एक व्यक्ति खुद में बदलाव लाने की ठान लेता है, तो वही बदलाव पूरे समाज की दिशा बदल सकता है..."

They are stepping up: listening, supporting, and helping others.

जब बात नाटक के ज़रिए कही जाती है, तो सीधे दिल तक पहुंचती है।

जांजगीर के अकलतरा ब्लॉक, ग्राम पंचायत बनाहिल में Agricon Foundation के युवोदय स्वयंसेवकों, NSS साथियों और इंटर्न्स ने मिलकर "रूप नहीं गुण" और "गुड पेरेंटिंग" पर नुक्कड़ नाटक का आयोजन किया।

संदेश सीधा था।
बच्चे की असली पहचान उसके रंग-रूप से नहीं, उसके गुणों और संस्कारों से होती है।
और अच्छी परवरिश का मतलब सिर्फ ज़रूरतें पूरी करना नहीं, बल्कि एक सुरक्षित और सकारात्मक माहौल देना है।

ग्रामीणों ने सुना भी और हिस्सा भी लिया।
जागरूकता जब गांव के बीच से उठती है, तो असर लंबा होता है।

Support does not always arrive from outside.

Most of the time, it already exists within a community.
In the neighbour who noticed something was wrong.
In the woman who stayed back after the meeting.
In the volunteer who said nothing, but simply sat with someone who needed company.
It was never absent. It just was not seen.

At Agricon Samiti, a large part of our work is this "Helping communities recognise what they already have, and making it stronger."

When people begin to listen to each other, support stops being something distant.
It becomes part of everyday life.
That is how resilient communities are built.
From the inside out.

जमीनी काम की एक सच्चाई है।

कोई नहीं देखता जब आप किसी गांव में तीसरी बार जाते हैं और फिर भी दरवाज़ा नहीं खुलता। कोई नहीं देखता जब एक स्वयंसेवक बारिश में साइकिल चलाकर किसी बैठक में पहुंचता है। कोई नहीं देखता वो छोटे-छोटे पल जिनसे असली भरोसा बनता है।

पर हम देखते हैं। क्योंकि हम वहाँ होते हैं।

2007 से।
हर दिन।
हर गांव में।
10+ जिले।
500+ गांव।
75,000+ परिवार।

यह काम दिखता कम है, पर होता ज़्यादा है।

Not every day looks like impact.

Some days it's a workshop that went really well.
Some days it's a conversation that went nowhere.
Some days it's just chai with a farmer who needed someone to listen.

And somewhere in all of that, slowly, things start to shift.

That's the honest truth of grassroots work. It's messy, it's slow and it's deeply human.

Agricon Samiti has been showing up for this since 2007.
Across 10+ districts, 500+ villages, with 75,000+ families in Chhattisgarh.

We are not here to look good. We are here to stay.

जमीनी बदलाव की तीन कहानियां | युवोदय हसदेव के हीरो

युवोदय हसदेव के हीरो स्वयंसेवक हर दिन चुपचाप बदलाव की नींव रख रहे हैं।

ग्राम पंचायत रोगदा में स्वयंसेवक अंकित नोरगे द्वारा बच्चों को "पढ़ाई का कोना" बनाने की प्रेरणा दी गई थी। फॉलो अप में देखा कि बच्चों ने अपना पढ़ाई कोना सच में तैयार कर लिया।

अकलतरा के ग्राम पंचायत बनाहिल में स्वयंसेविका श्रद्धा तिवारी ने घर पर पोषण पखवाड़ा की आकृतियां बनाकर ऑनलाइन माध्यम से जागरूकता फैलाई।

जांजगीर अकलतरा के ग्राम पंचायत लटिया में स्वयंसेविका यागिनी ने आंगनबाड़ी जाकर महिलाओं व बच्चों को पोषण और "आज क्या सीखा" विषय पर जागरूक किया।

ग्राम पंचायत बेलनार | पोषण पखवाड़ा | ब्लॉक भैरमगढ़, बीजापुर

बीजादूतीर स्वयंसेविका मनीषा तामो ने 22 अप्रैल 2026 को ग्राम पंचायत बेलनार के आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र में गर्भवती महिलाओं व पोषण माताओं के लिए जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया।

मानसिक स्वास्थ्य, संतुलित पोषण, एनीमिया व कुपोषण से बचाव पर विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी दी गई। महिलाओं को आवश्यक विटामिन्स व पोषक तत्वों के महत्व से अवगत कराकर स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया।

एक स्वस्थ माँ से ही एक स्वस्थ परिवार और स्वस्थ समाज की नींव रखी जाती है। यही Agricon Samiti की प्रतिबद्धता है।
