Some things feel “normal” only because we’ve seen them all our lives.
But what if we stopped for a moment and asked: Who decided what women and men are “supposed” to do?
On 11–12 August, a two-day Gender Training at DPRC Bhavan, Kawardha brought participants together to explore exactly this.
Through interactive games, group discussions, activities and shared reflections, participants looked at how gender norms shape everyday roles, responsibilities, choices and expectations.
The conversations went beyond understanding gender as a concept. They created space to question familiar norms, reflect on lived experiences, and look at equality from a different perspective.
Because change doesn’t always begin with an answer.
Sometimes, it begins with a better question.
Two days of learning. New perspectives. One more step towards a more equal and inclusive society.
