We had created this group on 6th January '12 with the intention of helping the needy ones, by providing them with the required blood & our group members are sincerely working for this kind cause. Under this group , separate documents for each different blood group type are maintain
ed , containing the Name of the member with the blood group, the Last donation date & place ,a Photograph and the contact number. Whosoever gets the blood requirement can make a post onto the page ,with the details [ like blood group , contact number , hospital name] regarding the requirement or can directly contact on the provided numbers for the same. There is no personal motive behind the functioning of this group and no money / nothing is charged by the donors for giving their blood. This is completely a trustworthy and genuine group . There is nothing fake here. The members are free to share their ideas & views regarding the better functioning of the group. A safe and sustainable blood supply is a challenge which every1 is facing in blood service delivery. This can be achieved only through recruitment and retention of voluntary, non-remunerated blood donors who donate through a humanitarian motives. People do not donate simply because no one has ever asked them to do so. Even in this era of high technology, instant and mass communication, the invitation to give blood has not reached many potential donors. The situation today is that the nation is facing acute blood shortages. ABCD is an attempt to bring in 100% voluntary blood donation in Chhattisgarh by taking the message of blood donation straight to the community. ABCD aims at organizing efficient and well organized blood donation programs. We bring to the donor all the information relating to blood donation that makes him/her absolutely comfortable and confident about the process. The same information ensures that the donor himself/herself is in a position to demand quality from the blood banks if not given.We need your support for helping the needies & to make people aware of this sort of donation.
