Many parents worry when they see spaces between their child’s baby teeth. But in most cases, those small gaps are actually a healthy sign.

Baby teeth are naturally smaller than permanent teeth. As a child grows, the jaws also grow and create extra space to prepare for the much larger adult teeth that will erupt later. That’s why dentists often like to see some spacing between baby teeth during early childhood.

When baby teeth are very tight together with little or no spacing, there may be less room available for the permanent teeth in the future. This can increase the likelihood of crowding, overlapping, or crooked teeth as adult teeth begin to come in.

Of course, spacing alone cannot perfectly predict future orthodontic needs, but it can give important clues about how the teeth and jaws are developing.

Sometimes, the gaps parents worry about today are actually helping create a healthier smile tomorrow.

● Today, on 26 May 2026, under the banner of the All India Dental Surgeons Association (AIDSA Surgeons) Rajasthan, a protest demonstration (“PROTEST”) was organized in support of the rights and interests of dental surgeons across the state. This historic movement began at 10:00 AM in Jaipur with the call of “Chalo Swasthya Bhavan.”

The entire protest and memorandum campaign was successfully conducted under the efficient and strong leadership of Dr. Kuldeep Tiwari (President – AIDSA Surgeons Rajasthan).

● Main Stages of the Movement (Main Stops for Memorandum Submission):

The delegation submitted memorandums regarding their demands at two major levels:

Swasthya Bhavan, Jaipur

Hon’ble Health Minister, Government of Rajasthan

● Major Demands and Objectives:

“Release Dental Recruitment, Strengthen Healthcare Services!” – The long-pending dental recruitment process in the state should be released immediately.

“Vacant Dental Posts Mean Weak Healthcare!” – Vacant posts of dental surgeons in government hospitals and health centers should be filled immediately to strengthen healthcare services in both rural and urban areas.

A proper policy should be formulated to safeguard the rights and secure future of dental surgeons.

● Message from the Leadership:

“If we do not rise today for our rights, tomorrow it may be too late.

Vacant dental posts are a direct sign of a weak healthcare system. We are not asking the government for charity; we are demanding our rights. Until recruitment is released, our voice will continue to rise strongly.”

●​आज, दिनांक 26 मई 2026 को अखिल भारतीय दंत चिकित्सक संघ (AIDSA Surgeons) राजस्थान के बैनर तले, प्रदेश के दंत चिकित्सकों के हितों के लिए विरोध प्रदर्शन ("PROTEST") आयोजित किया गया। यह ऐतिहासिक आंदोलन "चलो स्वास्थ्य भवन" आह्वान के साथ सुबह 10:00 बजे जयपुर में शुरू हुआ।
​यह पूरा आंदोलन और ज्ञापन प्रदर्शन डॉ. कुलदीप तिवारी जी (अध्यक्ष - AIDSA Surgeons राजस् ) के कुशल और सुदृढ़ नेतृत्व में संपन्न हुआ।

माननीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री (Hon'ble Health Minister), राजस्थान सरकार।

● ​प्रमुख मांगें और उद्देश्य:

1."Release Dental Recruitment, Strengthen Healthcare Services!" – राज्य में लंबे समय से लंबित पड़ी डेंटल भर्ती को तुरंत जारी किया जाए।

2.​"Vacant Dental Posts Mean Weak Healthcare!" – सरकारी अस्पतालों और स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों में खाली पड़े दंत चिकित्सकों के पदों को तुरंत भरा जाए ताकि ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्रों में स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं मजबूत हो सकें।

3.​दंत चिकित्सकों के अधिकारों और उनके सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिए उचित नीति बनाई जाए।

● ​नेतृत्व का संदेश:
​"अगर हम आज अपने अधिकारों के लिए नहीं जागे, तो कल बहुत देर हो जाएगी।
