Established in 1991, Prayas is a leading charity platform in Chhattisgarh working with and for people empowerment and has become the representative voice for Indian society. Dedicated to improving the status for Indian society, it works in Chhattisgarh state providing educational services, medical services, poverty alleviation and income generation schemes in urban and rural areas. It welcomes all
those who wish to support, donate or sponsor online and those who want to volunteer to help elderly citizens. Prayas aim for empowerment of women belong to back ward society though providing them skill up gradation and make them ready to earn their livelihood. Prayas an NGO (non-governmental organization) non-profit, voluntary citizens' group which is organized to identify issues, such as human rights, education, environment and health. We analyses the issues with our expertise volunteers and serve early advice mechanisms and help in monitoring and implementation of covenants. Prayas is a Task-oriented NGO and driven by people who really want to contribute their social services to society without any materialist benefit. We works to identify the common public interest, and aim to perform a variety of service and humanitarian functions, bring citizen concerns to Governments, advocate and monitor policies and encourage political participation through provision of information. Ek Prayas started by Shri Prakash Chand Golecha, Shri Prem Soni and Late. Shri Anil Shukla to treat the ill of the society and help them in the following areas: Human Rights, Education, Environment and Health. Since 2005, Shri Prakash Chand Golecha's son Shri Rishab Golecha has been the guiding force in this noble cause. In our programs it is made possible through donations and contributions as received from various corporations, organizations and individuals. With the increase in support, we will continue to extend our efforts and provide services to improve the quality of life of individuals.
