Go Green NIT Raipur

Go Green NIT Raipur The purpose of this organization is to provide a common ground where the students of this institution can advance their understanding of environment.

The Go Green Committee had come a long way since its incipience in 2010 starting with just 10 students as members of the team. Today it has more than 60 active dedicated students whose sole aim is to spread environmental awareness among the students of the campus. The team is currently headed by Dr. D.C. Jhariya,Prof-­in-charge. Each year, it conducts several events spread throughout the academic

session to fulfill its promise of contribution to nature.These events are well ­received and see a participation of more than 4000 students every year.
