शिवाशा फाउंडेशन के LEAD-36GARH Program के अंतर्गत आयोजित 'विचार निर्माण सत्र' का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को कक्षा से परे समाज, नीति और विकास से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर विचार करने का अवसर प्रदान करना है।

इसी क्रम में आज हमें जैकब नेल्लिथानम का स्वागत करने का अवसर मिला। वे बीज संरक्षण और किसानों के अधिकारों के क्षेत्र में तीन दशकों से अधिक समय से कार्यरत एक वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ता हैं।

पिछले तीन दशकों से अधिक समय से वे देशी बीजों के संरक्षण, जैव विविधता, टिकाऊ कृषि और किसानों के अधिकारों के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रहे हैं। उनका कार्य केवल खेती तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि सामाजिक, आर्थिक और पर्यावरणीय दृष्टि से कई महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्नों को सामने लाता है।

कृषि केवल खाद्यान्न उत्पादन का माध्यम नहीं है। यह पीढ़ियों से संचित स्थानीय ज्ञान, बीजों की विविधता, किसानों की आजीविका और प्रकृति के साथ उनके गहरे संबंध का भी आधार है।

बीजों पर अधिकार किसका होना चाहिए? किसान अपने बीजों और कृषि संबंधी निर्णयों में कितने स्वायत्त हैं? अधिक उत्पादन की हमारी कोशिशों के बीच पारंपरिक ज्ञान और जैव विविधता का क्या स्थान रह जाता है?

ये प्रश्न केवल किसानों तक सीमित नहीं हैं, बल्कि हमारे खाद्य तंत्र, पर्यावरण और पूरे समाज के भविष्य से जुड़े हुए हैं।

आज का यह सत्र कृषि को केवल उत्पादन और लाभ के पारंपरिक दृष्टिकोण से नहीं, बल्कि किसानों की स्वायत्तता, स्थानीय समुदायों और पारिस्थितिकीय स्थिरता के व्यापक संदर्भ में समझने और उस पर विचार करने का एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर रहा।

हम जैकब नेल्लिथानम का हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करते हैं कि उन्होंने अपना समय, अनुभव और विचार हमारे साथ साझा किए।

On 9 October 2026, the Chhattisgarh Police Commissionerate organized a Cyber Awareness Programme and Traffic Hackathon at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The programme aimed to promote awareness about cyber safety and encourage public participation in making the city's traffic system safer, smoother, and more organized.
As part of the initiative, students actively participated in traffic awareness activities and conducted surveys to identify traffic-related challenges and suggest practical solutions for improving the city's traffic management system.
On this occasion, Shivasha Foundation awarded prize money to 14 students who submitted the best suggestions for traffic improvement. The students were felicitated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Ji. This initiative recognized the creativity, innovative thinking, and sense of social responsibility demonstrated by the students while encouraging their active contribution towards public welfare.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Ji; Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister, Shri Vijay Sharma Ji; MLA, Shri Rajesh Munat Ji; Mayor, Smt. Meenal Choubey Ji; Director General of Police (DGP), Chhattisgarh, Shri Arun Dev Gautam Ji; and Additional Director General of Police and Commissioner along with other distinguished dignitaries.

On 9th August 2026, the Shivasha Foundation organized a heartwarming School Bag Distribution Drive for the children of Govt. Primary School, Mana Camp, Raipur (C.G).

We were honoured to have Shri Moti Lal Sahu Ji, MLA Raipur Rural, grace the event as our esteemed guest. The occasion was also attended by Mana Camp President Shri Sanjay Yadav, party workers, representatives of Shivasha Foundation, and the dedicated staff of Govt. Primary School, whose support made this initiative a success.

Seeing the smiles on these young faces as they received their new school bags is a reminder of why we do what we do — every small step brings us closer to a brighter, more equal future for our children. 🌱✨
