CGHRA President, Mr. Taranjeet Singh Hora, and esteemed members of the association recently had the opportunity to meet with the Hon’ble Chief Minister to discuss key issues related to the hospitality sector — including the matter of levying MG on star-category hotels and prevailing hotel policies.

During the meeting, Mr. Hora expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for granting industry status to hotels, a significant step forward for the hospitality sector in Chhattisgarh.

The Hon’ble CM graciously gave his valuable time and assured that the concerns raised would be looked into with due consideration.

As President of the Chhattisgarh Hotel and Restaurant Association, Taranjeet Singh Hora had the privilege of leading a delegation of our esteemed members in a productive meeting with Shri OP choudhary, the Minister of Finance, Housing, and Urban Planning. 🏨🍽️

During our meeting, we addressed the pressing issues that have been affecting our beloved hotels and restaurants across the state.
The meeting emphasised on
A) Granting industry status to hotels and restaurants.

B)Relaxation in timings of hotels and restaurants.

C) GST waiver under special conditions of high investment.

D) Certain relaxations of bar regulations like timings and MG.

E) Single window clearance system for hospitality projects.

Etc.

We are thrilled to announce that Minister shri Chowdhary has not only listened attentively to our concerns but has also assured us of prompt action to rectify and ease the difficulties faced by our industry.

This marks a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to foster a thriving hospitality sector in Chhattisgarh. With the support and cooperation of our government officials, we are confident that we will overcome challenges and continue to provide exceptional experiences for our patrons. 🙌
