Tyaga Brahma Aradhana Brings Divine Music to Prem Kutir

Members and committee representatives of the Mulund Fine Arts Society visited Prem Kutir at Karjat to present a soulful Tyaga Brahma Aradhana, rendering the divine compositions of Saint Tyagaraja. Nearly 20–25 members participated, creating a serene and devotional musical atmosphere that touched every heart present.
The residents of Prem Kutir, the retirement home for senior citizens, experienced a true feast for the ears and soul. The timeless kritis of Tyagaraja filled the evening with devotion, joy, and nostalgia, leaving everyone deeply moved and spiritually enriched.

✨ A Divine Morning at Prem Kutir ✨
Over 30 devoted ladies from the Narayaneeyam Group of Chembur & Matunga visited Prem Kutir and collectively chanted the sacred Narayaneeyam.
The soulful chanting filled the premises with a divine aura, bringing immense joy and spiritual bliss to the senior residents. The atmosphere truly felt blessed, as devotion, music, and compassion came together beautifully.
The residents deeply appreciated this heartfelt gesture, and the visiting ladies concluded the morning by sharing prasadam together — spreading warmth, positivity, and togetherness.
Moments like these remind us that devotion and human connection are the greatest gifts we can offer. 🙏

🌟 Spreading Smiles, One Notebook at a Time! 📚✨

The Shri Kamakshi Trust recently conducted a free notebook distribution drive across several schools in and around Shillar village. 💛

Our trustees, staff, and well-wishers personally visited the schools, sharing moments of joy with the children and their teachers. The warmth and gratitude from the school management was deeply touching — they fondly recalled our past efforts including free eye and medical camps that brought real change to their communities. 🩺👁️‍🗨️

These small steps are part of a larger journey to uplift rural education and health. The smiles we witnessed, the heartfelt ‘thank yous’ — they inspire us to do more, and reach further. 🙏

"Rudrabhishekam Ceremony at Prem Kutir - Retirement Home For Senior Citizens

On Sunday, 16th March 2025, Premkutir hosted a sacred Rudrabhishekam ceremony, which was attended by over 80 devotees. The event was expertly guided by Mr. Sethumadhavan from Mulund, who has led this ceremony at Premkutir in the past.

The newly designed backdrop added a touch of elegance to the proceedings. The ceremony commenced at 7:45 am, with a brief interlude at 9:30 am, and concluded at 1:15 pm.

The attendees were deeply moved by the experience and expressed their gratitude for the exceptional hospitality and lunch provided by the Trust. We hope that events like these continue to foster positive energies at Premkutir.

On the same day, Premkutir also welcomed a new resident to our Ashram community. The Trustees escorted the lady to her cottage, where she was warmly greeted with a shawl and bouquet, marking the beginning of her new journey with us."
