🌸 Teachers’ Day Celebration at Bandhu Purulia 🌸

5th September marks the birth anniversary of the great philosopher, educationist, and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. His birthday is celebrated across the country as Teachers’ Day, honouring his immense contribution to education and his deep respect for the teaching profession.

This special day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Bandhu Purulia. The programme began with the ceremonial offering of flowers to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by the teachers and students.

The celebration was followed by a vibrant cultural programme that provided our students with a wonderful platform to showcase their hidden talents. Students participated enthusiastically in a variety of performances, including dance, music, poetry recitation, speeches, and other cultural activities. Their confidence, creativity, and joyful participation made the entire programme truly memorable.

As part of the celebration, the students were also given a brief insight into the inspiring life, philosophy, and contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. His life and ideals continue to remind us of the profound role that teachers play in shaping individuals and building a better society.

The entire programme was filled with joy, respect, enthusiasm, and a spirit of togethernes. The active participation of our students and the sincere efforts of our teachers made the celebration a grand success.

🌸 A Heartwarming Visit to Bandhu Purulia Special School 🌸

On 27th August, we were delighted to welcome our friends Pooja and Muskan to Bandhu Purulia Special School. ❤️

They took a tour of our school and spent some beautiful moments interacting with our students. On this day, a great number of students were present, and their presence brought an atmosphere of joy and warmth to the school. 😊Our students lovingly tied beautiful Rakhis on their wrists, making the celebration even more special and memorable. ❤️✨

They also brought thoughtful gifts for our students, including educational materials such as pencils, pens, erasers, and other stationery items, as well as a water container and fresh fruits like bananas and pomegranates. 🎁🍌🍎

Their kindness, love, and thoughtful gesture brought beautiful smiles to the faces of our students. We are truly grateful for their valuable time, affection, and support. 🙏💐

Raksha Bandhan is a beautiful festival that celebrates the bond of love, affection, friendship, and togetherness. ❤️

On 28th August, Bandhu Purulia Special School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan with great joy and enthusiasm. Our students participated wholeheartedly in this special celebration. 🪢

The students tied Rakhis on each other’s wrists as a symbol of love and friendship and shared sweets with one another. 🍬❤️

The entire school was filled with happiness, laughter, and warmth. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the celebration and created beautiful memories together. 😊🌸

🌸 A Beautiful Moment of Love, Respect & Inclusion 🌸

The students of Bandhu Purulia Special School, an initiative of Bandhu Purulia, had the wonderful opportunity to meet the Hon’ble District Magistrate & Collector of Purulia, Shri Sudhir Kontham, at the District Magistrate’s Office.

On this special occasion, our students lovingly presented and tied beautiful handmade Rakhis, crafted with their own hands, on the wrist of the Hon’ble District Magistrate. He was delighted to see their creativity and heartfelt gesture and warmly appreciated and encouraged all the students. ❤️

The Hon’ble District Magistrate also spent some precious moments with our students and made the occasion even more special by offering them sweets. His warmth, kindness and affectionate interaction brought immense happiness to our students. 😊

The most encouraging part of the visit was his assurance that he will always stand beside Bandhu Purulia and extend his support and cooperation in our journey. His kind words and encouragement have inspired us and our students greatly. 🙏

🌸 A Beautiful Moment of Love, Respect & Warm Wishes🌸

The students of Bandhu Purulia Special School recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit the office of the Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Purulia, Shri Jyotirmoy Singh Mahato, and meet him personally. They were accompanied by Bandhu Purulia.

It was a truly joyful and memorable occasion. Our special school students lovingly presented and tied beautiful Rakhis handmade by themselves on the wrist of the Hon’ble MP. He was extremely happy and touched by the children’s love and affection. He warmly appreciated their creativity, talent, and efforts, and made the occasion even more special by offering sweets to all the students. ❤️

The students were equally delighted to spend such a beautiful and encouraging time with the Hon’ble MP. The warmth and affection they received made this visit a cherished and unforgettable memory for them. 🌷

During the interaction, the Hon’ble MP assured us that he will always stand beside Bandhu Purulia and continue to extend his support towards the organisation and its developmental initiatives. His kind words and encouragement have inspired all of us greatly. 🙏

🌸 World Senior Citizens’ Day Celebration 🌸

On 21st August, World Senior Citizens’ Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at Bijoy Garden, Purulia, under the initiative of Hamara Ashiyana. The event was organised in a warm, beautiful, and cheerful atmosphere, making the day truly special and memorable.

Senior citizens aged 65 years and above participated in this wonderful celebration. They showcased their talents through various performances, including dance, singing, poetry, recitation, drama, and more. Their energy, confidence, and enthusiasm were truly inspiring and beautifully reminded us that “Age is just a number.”❤️

We were honoured that Bandhu Purulia was invited to be a part of this special occasion. Representing Bandhu Purulia, our Director, Respected Annapurna Ma’am, attended the programme.

The entire event was filled with happiness, laughter, talent, and heartfelt emotions. Watching the senior citizens participate so enthusiastically and enjoy every moment of the programme was deeply touching and left us truly emotional. Their vibrant spirit and positive outlook towards life are an inspiration to us all.

Bandhu Purulia at “Amra Sampurna Mela” 2026 ❤️

The “Amra Sampurna Mela,” organized by Amra Sampurna Club, was held on 21st and 22nd August in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of many distinguished guests.

We were especially honoured to have Ms. Annapurna, Director of our institution Bandhu Purulia, as a Special Guest at the inauguration. She was accompanied by the wonderful students of Bandhu Purulia Special School, whose presence added even more warmth and joy to the occasion.

Ms. Annapurna and our students were truly delighted and happy to be a part of such a beautiful and memorable event. We sincerely thank Amra Sampurna Club for inviting Bandhu Purulia and giving us the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful celebration.

A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Kind Support
A Small Contribution, A Big Inspiration ❤️

Due to a shortage of classrooms at Bandhu Purulia Special School, we had been facing various difficulties in providing a comfortable learning environment for our students. To address this need, a few new classrooms have recently been constructed. We are now working to equip these classrooms with the necessary facilities and materials.

At this important time, a kind-hearted gentleman came forward to support us. He generously donated a ceiling fan for one of the classrooms of Bandhu Purulia Special School. Although the fan was previously used, it is in excellent condition and looks almost as good as new.

On behalf of Bandhu Purulia, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and sincere thanks to this kind-hearted donor for his thoughtful contribution. 🙏❤️

Support from compassionate people like him gives us the encouragement and strength to continue our work for our special children.
