We plan to build a small village 38 kilometres from the Odishan town of Puri in Eastern India, including natural mud-and-straw huts for eco-tourists and living spaces for thirty elderly homeless people and orphans. Visitors will be able to see a purer India and study the biodiversity, flora and fauna of
the region. They will experience our dedication to organic fa

rming in an
idyllic spot by the Bhargavi River near the Bay of Bengal. Nearby, Chilika Lake is well-known for its dolphins, and the Bay of Bengal boasts an
annual migration of Olive Ridley Sea Turtles. Birds, including storks and flamingos, flock
into the area from all over the world. In the forest are jackals, snakes, monitor lizards, deer, mongooses, wild cats and many other species. Two small temples – Mukteshwar, dedicated to Siva, and the other to the goddess
Baliharachandi are also close by. Beyond the town, at Konark, is the 13th century temple built as a vast stone chariot for the sun god. A vital part of the project is giving a permanent home to the poor. Fifteen elderly men and women and 15 orphaned children will be looked after. They will be saved from the horror and loneliness of their situation. Will you please spread the word among friends so that we can raise donations to make this possible?

Merci infiniment

This is footage from the construction of the water pump—the first time water has been brought to the land. For now, everything is being done carefully by hand, step by step.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who is working so hard on this. Thank you so much.

At Chilika Lake, which borders Balihar Village, you can witness such beautiful sunsets and everyday scenes.

With even the slightest change in weather, Chilika Lake reveals completely different expressions—it’s truly breathtaking.

At Balihar Village, construction on the land has slowly begun. The ground is being cultivated and smoothed, and a boundary for the village land has now been put in place.

We’d love to share these moments with you through photos. This is just the beginning—there is still much more to come.

The Beauty of East India Puri, Odisha

In the golden light of dawn, Puri awakens
where the waves of the Bay of Bengal kiss the sacred sands, and the cry of the sea mingles with the chant of temple bells.

Here, life dances barefoot.
The street children with no riches but their laughter run wild through the narrow lanes,
their joy brighter than any festival light.

They chase the wind, the birds, and dreams too big for their tiny hands but their hearts are free, and their smiles are the true wealth of this land.

This is East India, this is Odisha
a place where every grain of sand holds a story, every smile carries hope,
and every soul finds beauty in simplicity.
