Today, we held a detailed discussion with representatives of various organisations on addressing traffic congestion across the Hinjewadi IT Hub and Talegaon–Chakan–Khed industrial corridor.

Through , PCCHSF continues to consistently pursue these issues with the concerned authorities.

Key priorities:
🔹 Form a non-political coordination committee under the Nodal Officer
🔹 Seek a review meeting with Hon. CM Shri. Devendra Fadnavis ji
🔹 Accelerate pending road projects and land acquisition
🔹 Strengthen traffic police & traffic warden manpower
🔹 Improve coordination among administration, Gram Panchayats & local authorities
🔹 Ensure speed, quality and accountability in infrastructure works

* आंदोलन | सर्वेक्षण आणि आजची वस्तुस्थिती*

आज महाराष्ट्र टाइम्स वृत्तपत्रामध्ये हिंजवडी आयटी पार्क परिसरातील वाहतूक कोंडी, अपुरी पायाभूत सुविधा आणि रखडलेल्या विकासकामांबाबत प्रसिद्ध झालेल्या बातम्या पुन्हा एकदा लाखो आयटी कर्मचारी आणि नागरिकांच्या दैनंदिन वास्तवाची साक्ष देतात.

१० जुलै २०२५ रोजी माननीय मुख्यमंत्री यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली झालेल्या उच्चस्तरीय बैठकीनंतर आंदोलनाने आयटी कर्मचाऱ्यांचे सविस्तर सर्वेक्षण करून त्याचा अहवाल जून २०२६ मध्ये प्रसिद्ध केला होता.

आजची परिस्थिती पाहता एक गोष्ट स्पष्टपणे अधोरेखित होते—

त्या सर्वेक्षणातील निष्कर्ष आणि आजची प्रत्यक्ष परिस्थिती यामध्ये पूर्णतः साम्य दिसून येते.

सर्वेक्षणात आयटी कर्मचारी, नागरिक आणि प्रवाशांनी व्यक्त केलेल्या प्रमुख चिंता आजही तशाच कायम आहेत. यावरून असे जाणवते की हिंजवडी परिसरातील वाहतूक आणि पायाभूत सुविधांच्या प्रश्नांकडे अपेक्षित तातडीने, समन्वयाने आणि सातत्याने लक्ष दिले गेलेले नाही.

महाराष्ट्राच्या अर्थव्यवस्थेला मोठे योगदान देणाऱ्या या आयटी हबला आता आवश्यकता आहे—

• निश्चित कालमर्यादेत विकासकामे पूर्ण करण्याची
• सर्व संबंधित यंत्रणांमध्ये प्रभावी समन्वयाची
• सुरक्षित, विश्वासार्ह व सक्षम सार्वजनिक वाहतूक व्यवस्थेची
• वाहतूक कोंडीमुक्त आणि सुकर रस्ते व्यवस्थेची
• केवळ घोषणा नव्हे, तर प्रत्यक्ष अंमलबजावणी आणि उत्तरदायित्वाची

हा कोणावर टीका करण्याचा प्रयत्न नसून, लाखो आयटी कर्मचारी, स्थानिक नागरिक आणि उद्योगांच्या दैनंदिन जीवनात प्रत्यक्ष सकारात्मक बदल घडवून आणण्यासाठी प्रशासनाने अधिक वेगाने, प्रभावीपणे आणि समन्वयाने काम करावे, हीच अपेक्षा आहे.

आंदोलनाचा जून २०२६ चा सर्वेक्षण अहवाल हा केवळ मतांचा संग्रह नव्हता; तो त्या काळातील वास्तवाचे प्रतिबिंब होता. आजच्या परिस्थितीने त्या निष्कर्षांवर पुन्हा एकदा शिक्कामोर्तब केले आहे.

* Movement | Survey vs Ground Reality*

Today’s 04.08.2026 Maharashtra Times newspaper reports on the continuing infrastructure and traffic challenges across the Hinjawadi IT corridor once again highlight what thousands of daily commuters have been experiencing for years—traffic congestion, poor road conditions, and delayed infrastructure improvements remain serious concerns. Recent public protests in the region further underline the growing frustration among residents and IT professionals. (Maharashtra Times⁠)

It is worth recalling that after the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s high-level review meeting held on 10 July 2025, the Movement conducted a comprehensive survey of IT employees and published its findings in June 2026.

*The key observation is clear*:

The survey findings and today’s ground realities are in complete sync.

Despite several announcements and discussions, the perception among commuters continues to be that there has been no strong urgency, sustained commitment, or coordinated ex*****on to resolve the long-pending infrastructure and mobility challenges affecting lakhs of IT employees travelling to and from Hinjawadi every day.

A modern IT hub contributing significantly to Maharashtra’s economy deserves:

* Time-bound infrastructure ex*****on.
* Better inter-agency coordination.
* Safe and efficient public transport.
* Congestion-free road connectivity.
* Accountability through measurable outcomes, not just announcements.

The objective is not to criticize, but to encourage faster implementation, greater transparency, and sustained administrative focus so that the daily lives of IT employees, residents, businesses, and emergency services improve in a meaningful way.

The survey was not merely a collection of opinions—it reflected the reality on the ground. Today’s developments only reinforce that those concerns continue to remain valid.

NigdI-Wakad-Chakan Metro Update from MAHAMETRO.

▪️In a big update, the final DPR for Bhakti Shakti-Wakad-Nashik Phata- Chakan Metro has been presented before the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation's General Body for approval.

▪️This metro line will have 34 stations over a length of 45.295 km.

▪️It will have integration with other metro stations at the following locations:

1️⃣ Bhakti Shakti (Phase 1 Extension)
2️⃣ Wakad Chowk (Pune Metro Line 3)
3️⃣ Nashik Phata (Line 1)
4️⃣ Sant Tukaram Nagar (Line 1)

▪️Post PCMC approval, it will be sent ahead for State Government approval followed by PIB and Central Government approvals.
