Pune is heating up, and itтАЩs not just the weather.

Urban Green Gaps are silently turning our city into a heat trap, where concrete replaces cooling green cover.

As temperatures rise and air quality declines, the solution lies in something simple yet powerful: planting more trees and restoring urban greenery.

Small actions can create cooler neighborhoods, healthier air, and a better quality of life.

ItтАЩs time to rethink how we build and bring nature back into our cityтАЩs future.

Healthy trees need consistent care, not just planting.

Sustainable maintenance ensures stronger growth, better survival rates, and long-term environmental impact in urban and suburban areas.

тАв Water deeply but not too frequently
тАв Use mulch to retain soil moisture
тАв Protect saplings from damage
тАв Choose native species for better growth
тАв Prune regularly for healthy structure
тАв Monitor soil and nutrient levels

Small, consistent efforts make a big difference in building greener, cooler communities.

Tree care is a long-term commitment that benefits everyone.

Join hands with Nelda and contribute to a greener future.

A greener Pune doesnтАЩt happen by chance.

It happens when people show up, every week, doing the work that truly matters. Watering today. Sustaining tomorrow.

This is what real change looks like.

Buckets, teamwork, and a commitment to keep trees alive beyond plantation day.

Because planting is easy, nurturing is responsibility.

Wattieza is considered one of the earliest known tree-like plants on Earth.

Living around 385 million years ago, it lacked true leaves and seeds, resembling a giant fern.

Its structure helped scientists understand how early plants evolved toward modern trees and forest ecosystems.

Red Sanders is a slow-growing, endemic tree found in parts of southern India.

Valued for its dense red wood, it plays an important role in dry forest ecosystems.

Due to overexploitation and illegal trade, Red Sanders is now protected and requires strict conservation efforts.
