Swedish Student Visit to P. M. Shah Foundation
Every year, in collaboration with Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Department of Social Science, students from Sweden visit India to learn about the work and impact of various NGOs. As part of this enriching initiative, we were delighted to welcome a group of Swedish students to P. M. Shah Foundation. The visit began with a warm welcome and an engaging presentation highlighting our Foundation’s various initiatives and impactful projects.
As part of their learning experience, the students also visited Chandrakant Darode School to understand the on-ground implementation and impact of our School Sanitation & Safe Drinking Water Project. Their interaction with students and observation of the project provided valuable insights into the importance of health, hygiene, sanitation, and safe drinking water in schools.
The visit was made even more memorable through a beautiful celebration of Indian culture and traditions. The Swedish students had the opportunity to experience various cultural performances showcasing the rich heritage of India, including traditional folk performances, patriotic songs, Dhol-Lezim, Bharatanatyam, and other cultural presentations.
A special traditional welcome and honouring of the guests added warmth and dignity to the occasion. The vibrant performances, cultural interactions, and enthusiastic participation of the students created a truly joyful and memorable atmosphere.
It was a wonderful celebration of culture, diversity, friendship, and learning beyond borders—bringing India and Sweden closer through the universal language of education and cultural exchange. 🌏🤝✨
