1) To provide direct educational and therapeutic services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disor

2) To establish, undertake, promote, manage, conduct and/or otherwise render all possible assistance (whether institutes Government sponsored or otherwise) for conducting research programs in all the branches of the Science of Autism Spectrum Disorders, by providing field experience at the centres under the trust, at the State, National and International level.
3) To collaborate & network with other institutions with similar objectives to:
A) Create and enhance public awareness and knowledge
B) Provide training opportunities and create teaching aids and materials

On the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, autistic students from Prasanna Autism Centre, which has been working for autistic children for the past 26 years, organised Saint Dnyaneshwar Mauli’s Palkhi (palanquin procession). All the students arrived looking very happy in traditional attire. The ritual worship (poojan) of Saint Dnyaneshwar Mauli’s image was performed. Following this, in a highly enthusiastic atmosphere, a Dindi (procession) was taken out with students carrying Tulsi Vrindavan on their heads to the rhythm of cymbals and chants of "Gyanba Tukaram". Under the guidance of Sadhana Godbole, Managing Director of the Centre , the Palkhi was managed by teachers Bharati Patil, Mrunal Dhole, Uma Kharse, Rutuja Gaikwad, and Snehal Bendre.

प्रसन्न ऑटिझम सेंटर चा वर्धापनदिन उत्साहात..

स्वमग्नता( ऑटिझम) ही एक मानसिक वैकासिक गुंतागुंतीची समस्या असून विशेषतः लहान मुलांमध्ये याचे प्रमाण वाढताना दिसत आहे. या समस्येसाठी आवश्यक असणाऱ्या स्पीच, ऑक्क्युपेशनल , रेमेडियल, वर्तणूक अश्या वेगवेगळ्या थेरपीज द्वारे उपचार करून या मुलांना समाजाच्या मुख्य प्रवाहात आणण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करणाऱ्या प्रसन्न ऑटिझम सेंटरने नुकतेच २७ व्या वर्षात पदार्पण केले . यानिमित्त आयोजित स्नेहमेळाव्यासाठी Astimo fie चे संचालक सुधीर गोगटे, डॉ. कल्याणी मांडके, डॉ. अपर्णा कुलकर्णी, रोटरी क्लबचे राजेश वाडेकर, रोहित फडणीस, स्वाती यादव,
डॉ. कुबेर तसेच पालक, विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक सहकारी, हितचिंतक आवर्जून उपस्थित होते. या प्रसंगी संस्थेच्या कार्यकारी अध्यक्षा साधना गोडबोले, विश्वस्त सुचेता राजहंस, संध्या जोशी यांनी उपस्थितांचे स्वागत केले. या विद्यार्थ्याना नेहमीच्या शिक्षण पद्धतीबरोबरच व्यावसायिक शिक्षण देऊन स्वतःच्या पायावर उभे करण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करण्याचा मनोदय साधना गोडबोले यांनी यावेळी व्यक्त केला.
