Jaljeevika Ratnagiri (UNDP-GCF Project) proudly co-organized a One-Day Workshop on "Seaweed Cultivation: Current Status & Future Prospects"
at Fisheries Engineering Polytechnic, Shirgaon, Ratnagiri — alongside the Marine Biological Research Centre & Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth.
67 participants came together — Researchers from Maharashtra & Goa , Fisherfolk & fish farmers, NGO workers & forest officials, Students & entrepreneurs
All united by one vision — a thriving, sustainable coastal economy.

Big Announcement of the Day: The Chief Minister's Matsya Sampada Yojana now includes a fresh provision for a Seaweed Seed Bank — a game-changer for the entire sector!
