Mukul Madhav Foundation

Mukul Madhav Foundation Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF) was established in 1999 as a Public Charitable Trust in Pune, Maharashtra. Chhabria, Founder of the Finolex Group, and Shri. G.P.

Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF) began its journey in July 1998, with the all-embracing vision of Mrs. Ritu Hinduja Chhabria put into action with the ideological and corpus support of the Late P.P. Hinduja, Chairperson of the Hinduja Group. Completing registration as a trust in 1999. Over the last 25 years, MMF has dedicated itself to empowering the underserved with resources, skills, opportunities,

social leverage, infrastructure and counselling - across geographies, gender, age and abilities. Supporting individuals, communities, organisations and rural institutions through initiatives in healthcare, education, food equality, sanitation, environment and disaster relief across all of the 17 sustainable development goals as envisioned by the United Nations. Confident that even the lesser-privileged have the potential to flourish and thrive on their own, all they need is a hand to pull them out of their circumstances. As evident over the years, where many beneficiaries have gone on to contribute to their communities and impact society at large. Ensuring a life of dignity, that's self-sustained and inclusive.

A collective effort to not only honour her legacy, but to carry it forward, together.

Dr. Mahesh Khalipe, District Health Officer, Zilla Parishad Satara, shares his perspective on how these efforts are helping TB patients and their families. We are humbled by his words and encouraged by the impact seen on the ground.

Better motherhood begins long before a child is born and continues long after.

This National Safe Motherhood Day, we recognise that maternal and child health is not a single intervention, but a continuum of care- spanning awareness, access, nutrition and critical medical support.

At Mukul Madhav Foundation, our work begins at the grassroots—strengthening systems, building awareness and enabling communities and extends to the last mile, where every mother and child deserves a chance to thrive.

With support of on-ground partners we:
- Conduct awareness and training sessions for rural women and ASHA workers
- Strengthen community nutrition and monitor maternal and child health
- Provide home-based primary healthcare for pregnant women, new mothers and infants
- Support immunisation efforts to protect children from preventable diseases
- Strengthen healthcare infrastructure, including support for NICU facilities, ensuring critical care for newborns

Because safe motherhood isn’t just about survival.
It’s about dignity, care and the promise of a healthier future, for both mother and child.

Better health isn’t just one treatment or a single visit.
It’s the care that continues every day, the opportunities that don’t pause the lives that keep moving forward.

For over two decades, Mukul Madhav Foundation, the CSR partner of Finolex Industries Ltd., has been creating a holistic ecosystem of care across India, from prenatal support to a child’s first moments and continued geriatric care support for elderly—strengthening healthcare systems, improving access for underprivileged communities and uplifting lives at every stage.

In the last 2 decades, we’ve supported:

-15,000+ patients with medical care and financial support
-10,000+ newborns with life-saving care, nutrition, and check-ups
-9,000+ cancer patients supported with nutrition and healthcare
-5,000+ women through mammography camps
-850+ paediatric cardiac surgeries
-5000+ adolescents screened for thalassemia and diabetes
-9,000+ cataract surgeries
-4,000+ senior citizens through geriatric camps
-100+ institutions with infrastructural development

This , we reaffirm our commitment to be there at every step of the way, not just for one person, but for an entire community.

On World Tuberculosis Day, we continued our efforts to support TB patients through the distribution of nutritional kits under the PM Nikshay Mitra initiative, reaching communities across Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Since 2023, we have supported over 29,500 TB patients by providing six-month nutritional kits across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Currently, more than 1,300 patients continue to receive monthly support on a six-month rotational basis, aligned with programme guidelines.

Our on-ground efforts span multiple regions, with nearly 950 kits distributed across Pune, Ratnagiri and Satara in Maharashtra, around 165 kits in Vadodara, Gujarat, and 200 kits across Rajasthan. While our support in Uttar Pradesh concluded in 2024, the impact created there continues to guide our work in other locations.

This year, our efforts were recognised by the District Health Officer and health authorities in Satara, and by the TB Department in Vadodara, Gujarat. Our work was also featured across publications including Dainik Bhaskar, Mahanagar Times, Hindustan Express, Dainik Samrat, Kalwad Times and Rajasthan Patrika, helping amplify awareness and community participation.

As we mark this day, we remain focused on continuity of care and collective action, working towards a TB-free future for India.

This World Water Day, we’re reminded that water is more than a basic need, it is the foundation of health, livelihoods and opportunity.

At Mukul Madhav Foundation, our work goes beyond access. We focus on restoring and strengthening the systems that sustain water for the long term. From reviving natural sources to building reliable infrastructure, every initiative is designed to create lasting impact within communities.

Because when water is secure, everything changes: children stay in school, families lead healthier lives and communities move towards greater resilience and self-reliance.
