Every Year, on the eve of Ganesh Festival, the volunteers of D.S.Kulkarni Foundation collects Nirmaly- Waste Garlands from the devotees. This helps to maintain M***a river of Pune clean. As encouragement to devotees, D.S.Kulkarni Foundation distributes fertilizers packets. The fertilizers are made of waste garlands received from devotees. CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Every year, D.S.Kulkarni Foundation donating books to various libraries in Pune District and also helping various institutions for construction of toilets for Public Use. For the convenience of devotees, residential accommodation has been provided at Saptshrungi Devi Fort at Nasik. Similarly, Ganesh Temple at Kalvan, Nasik was renovated by D.S.Kulkarni Foundation. FEMALE FOETICIDE
A drive has been taken by D.S.Kulkarni Foundation to make awareness in general public in the subject of Female Foeticide. A long march was organized on 2nd October 2011 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji. The participants carried the banners passing the messages like, “SAVE NATION SAVE FEMALE” and “HONOUR GIRL CHILD”. Renowned Marathi Artist Bhargavi Chirmule led the march. There were nearly 1000 participants in the procession. Similarly a Poster Competition was organized at spacious venue of Sambhaji Park in Pune. There were around 200 participants of age group 10 to 60 years. The function was largely attended by the public. The prizes were distributed to the best artist at the hands of Mangesh Tendulkar, Renowned Cartoonist. D.S.Kulkarni Foundation has organized Seminar on this vital subject which was held on 5th November 2011. The speakers were Minal Mohadikar, Dr. Veena Dev, Advocate Varsha Deshpande, Madhura and Pradeep Velankar, Advocate Aseem Sarode and Dr. Shakera Inamdar. To highlight the subject, one Street Play Competition has been organized in the mid of November 2011. D.S.Kulkarni Foundation has approached 134 colleges in Pune district and there was overwhelming response. More than 70 teams were participated in this competition.
