Blue Circle Diabetes Foundation conducted a school diabetes awareness program at Maple Tree International School and Day Care, Jaipur, Rajasthan on 9th and 10th May 2026 on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The program was attended by about 60 staff, mothers and children from the primary and pre-primary section.

From managing homes, work, meals, emotions & everyday responsibilities to often being the primary caregivers for children living with chronic health conditions, like type 1 diabetes — mothers carry immense visible and invisible labour every single day. They also become advocates, schedulers, carb counters & external pancreases, often without pause. Send this to your mom 💌

Thank you for all that you do. We love you 🌼

Also thinking of those missing their mothers, mothers missing their children, those yearning to be mothers, those who chose not to be, and everyone for whom today feels complicated 🌸
