The International School for Jain Studies (ISJS) invites submissions for the Bhagwan Kunthunath ISJS Awards, recognizing outstanding scholarship in Jain Studies.

We welcome applications in two categories:

📘 Best Book Award
🏅 Prize: ₹1,00,000 (or equivalent US$)

📄 Best Research Paper / Article Award
🏅 Prize: ₹25,000 (or equivalent US$)

The awards honour exceptional English-language publications on Jain Philosophy, History, Culture, Ethics, and the contemporary relevance of Jain principles.

📅 Eligibility: Books and articles published between April 2025 and March 2026

⏳ Submission Deadline: 31 August 2026

The International School for Jain Studies (ISJS) invites applications for the 7th Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship, an intensive academic program designed to develop scholars with deep understanding of Prakrit language, Jain Agamic literature, manuscripts, and Jain studies.

🌿 Program Highlights
✔ 9-month residential fellowship
✔ Study of Prakrit grammar and literature
✔ Translation and interpretation of Prakrit texts
✔ Manuscript and epigraph studies
✔ Learning under experienced scholars of Jain studies
