Our mission is to help destitute women, children and men from all over India exercise their right to a higher quality of life, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, or religion. 🎒🌸 Welcome Back, Dear Children! 🌸🎒
After a joyful holiday break, it was wonderful to welcome our children back to Maher. 💛
The campus is once again filled with laughter, energy, and smiling faces. We are excited to begin a new chapter of learning, friendship, creativity, and growth together. 📚✨

🌍🌿 World Environment Day Cleanliness Drive 🌿🌍

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Maher, Vatsalyadham, and the Manjari Khurd Gram Panchayat jointly organized a cleanliness drive in the Manjari BAIF Company area. 💚

The accumulated garbage was completely cleared, and awareness about cleanliness and environmental responsibility was spread through posters and banners. 🧹♻️

A heartfelt thank you to Sagar Undre for his valuable support in providing a garbage vehicle, gloves, masks, breakfast, and drinking water for all participants. 🙏✨

🌞✨ Summer Camp at Maher Shanti Nivas, Selu Ghorad ✨🌞
A four-day summer camp was successfully organized at Maher Shanti Nivas, bringing together 75 children from the Selu area, including Ghorad, Joshi Nagar, and Kothiwada. 💛
The camp was filled with fun, learning, and creativity. Children participated in various games and activities designed to promote good habits, environmental awareness, teamwork, and intellectual development. 🎨🌱
Highlights of the camp included:
🎭 Dance and costume activities
🎶 Music sessions
🎨 Drawing competitions
🪑 Chair games and other fun activities
On the final day, all the children were honored with prizes for their enthusiastic participation. Special awards were also presented to outstanding participants, recognizing their enthusiasm, leadership, and positive spirit. 🏆✨
The camp provided a joyful platform for children to discover their talents, build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting memories. It was a wonderful celebration of learning, creativity, and childhood. 🌈💫

From the Streets to Safety — A Life Reunited 💛
Our team at Maher responded to a report of an elderly man found in a neglected and helpless condition near Koregaon Park. He was immediately brought to our center for care, medical attention, and rehabilitation.
During recovery, he shared details about his past and his family. With persistent follow-up and compassionate efforts, our team successfully traced his relatives and coordinated his safe return home.
Today, we are happy to share that he has been reunited with his family and permanently resettled. The family expressed deep gratitude for the care, support, and love extended during this journey.
This reunion reminds us that timely help, kindness, and collective effort can truly transform lives. If you see someone in need, please reach out—together we can make a real difference.

Success Story – Maher Kolkata Mayer Anchal Home 💛
Near VIP Road in Kolkata, an elderly grandmother was found sitting alone beside garbage in a dark and unsafe condition. She was soon brought with care and dignity to Mayer Anchal Home, a home of Maher, after completing the necessary police formalities.
At the home, she received shelter, food, medical care, counselling, and emotional support. With time, love, and patient care, she slowly recovered and began sharing small details about her family.
Through continuous efforts and dedicated social work, her family was successfully traced. When her brother finally saw her, he was overwhelmed with emotion and tears of joy—believing she had been lost forever after being missing for several months.
This heartwarming reunion reminds us that love, compassion, and humanity can truly bring hope back into someone’s life. 💫
Thank you to the entire Maher Kolkata team and all supporters who made this rescue and reunion possible. 🙏
