💫✨JVP has organised a talk on Understanding Basic Math's concepts useful in Astronomy by Anant Patki (Outstanding Scientist, ISRO(retd.))✨💫

Synopsis: 📝
Mathematics has percolated in our daily life through inevitable spread of technologies and applications. It has become a universal tool on almost all frontiers of our life. Astronomy is no exception. India was way ahead in this field for centuries. However, the enormous observations and interpretations were not backed by mathematical analysis, with the march of time. Eventually we lost the edge. Nevertheless astronomy remains a great attraction to young minds even today. This presentation is aimed at providing some basic concepts, making astronomy as a hobby, more enjoyable and to give them wider perspective.
