Growing, laughing, and celebrating 2 whole years together! 🎈✨

Two years ago, Saamarthya set out on a wonderful journey with a simple, heart-filled mission: to build a safe, happy, and truly inclusive space where every child shines in their own unique way and every family feels right at home! 💛

Real progress is best measured by the smiles on our children's faces and the peace of mind of our families. To mark this sweet 2-year milestone, we wanted to take a step back and look at our journey through the eyes of the people who make our community so special—our incredible parents.

Swipe through our carousel to watch their heartfelt stories come to life! From the pure excitement of interactive game stalls, creative arts, and yummy treats at our anniversary celebration, to deeply moving reflections on finding an extended family, our parents share how Saamarthya has brought warmth, support, and belonging into their daily lives.

You’ll hear firsthand about the confidence boost, new friendships, and remarkable growth our little ones experience when given an environment designed with love, empathy, and patience. 🌱🌟

Saamarthya has grown into so much more than an organization or a learning center—it is our shared happy place and a safe haven for every family navigating this developmental path. None of this magic would be possible without the unwavering trust, dedication, and affection of our parent community, educators, therapists, and supporters.

Thank you for walking this beautiful path with us and trusting us with your family's journey!
Here’s to endless giggles, big milestones, breaking barriers, and growing together for many more wonderful years to come! 🎉🥰

💙 Meet Our Team | Saurabh Shinde
Behind every meaningful partnership is someone who believes that lasting change begins with people coming together.

Meet Saurabh Shinde, our Manager – Outreach & Partnerships, who is passionate about building collaborations that create greater opportunities for neurodivergent children and their families. Beyond his professional role, Saurabh enjoys writing stories and poetry, performing in theatre, and exploring new places and meeting new people—bringing the same creativity, curiosity, and authenticity into everything he does.

💦 Every splash is more than just play—it’s a step towards growth. 💙

For many children, the best learning doesn't happen while sitting at a desk. It happens when little hands explore, curious minds experiment, and every giggle turns into a new discovery.

At Sensory Splash, children are free to touch, pour, splash, squeeze, and explore in a safe, joyful environment designed to support their unique way of learning.

Through sensory-rich, water-based play, children naturally develop:
🌊 Sensory processing and regulation
🧠 Attention, focus, and problem-solving
🤲 Fine and gross motor skills
💬 Communication and social interaction
💛 Confidence, curiosity, and independence

Because every child deserves the freedom to learn in a way that makes sense to them.

Whether your child loves water, is hesitant to explore new textures, or simply enjoys discovering the world through play, this session offers a welcoming space where there are no expectations—only opportunities.

We often measure a child’s progress by marks, ranks, awards, and report cards. But some of the most essential life skills—kindness, empathy, resilience, and the courage to try again after failing—can never be captured by a grade.

These quiet qualities may not appear on an academic transcript, but they shape the human beings our children grow up to be. By expanding our definition of success, we can nurture compassionate, confident, and resilient individuals who thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

At Saamarthya Foundation, we partner with educators and schools to build learning environments that value character alongside curriculum.

💙 One step at a time. One milestone at a time.

Every child's journey is unique, and every milestone has a story behind it.

For 4-year-old Aarohi, every physiotherapy session at Saamarthya's Family Resource Centre became an opportunity to learn, grow, and take one step closer to independence. Guided by our physiotherapist Dhanashree, each session focused on building the foundations of movement—balance, strength, coordination, and confidence.

Progress didn't happen overnight. It was built through patience, consistency, encouragement, and celebrating every small achievement along the way.

And then came a moment that reminded us why these little victories matter so much.

A moment that filled the therapy room with smiles.

A moment that reflected weeks of determination, trust, and teamwork between Aarohi, her family, and her therapist.

Here's to every child, every family, and every therapist who continues to believe in the journey.

📌 Save this story as a reminder that every milestone deserves to be celebrated.

🤍 Share it to spread hope and celebrate the power of perseverance.

Celebrate Ability. Unleash Potential. 🌈

Happy Independence Day.

A nation is truly free when every child can learn, every individual is accepted, and every dream is given an equal chance to flourish.

As we celebrate the spirit of India, let us also celebrate the power of inclusion. Because freedom is not just about breaking barriers—it's about ensuring no one is left behind.

At Saamarthya Foundation, we believe that every neurodivergent child and every person with a disability deserves dignity, opportunity, and a place where they truly belong.

This Independence Day, let's make a promise:

❤️ To choose empathy over judgement.

🤝 To create opportunities over limitations.

To build an India where everyone belongs.

Because the strongest India is an inclusive India.

✨ If you believe every child deserves equal opportunities, leave a ❤️ in the comments and share this message.

Not One Size Fits All: Choosing Therapies That Match Your Child’s Needs 💙

Every child is unique. Their strengths, challenges, communication, sensory needs, interests, and developmental goals are different — and their support should be too.

For parents, choosing therapies can feel overwhelming. With so many options, it’s natural to wonder: Which therapy is right for my child? When should we start? Is it helping? Do we really need to do everything?

Therapy isn’t about following a checklist or choosing what worked for another child. A diagnosis may guide us, but it doesn’t define a child or tell us exactly what support they need.

Join us under the SWAYAM Parent Empowerment Series to explore how parents can make informed therapy choices and understand the importance of individualised, meaningful, and goal-oriented support.

Move beyond “Which therapy is best?” and ask: “What does my child need right now?”

Some days, the hardest part of special needs parenting isn’t the therapy schedules or the meltdowns—it’s feeling like no one truly understands the weight you carry.

✨ Learning. Reflecting. Growing. ✨

From 10th to 18th July, Tejaswini Pendharkar and Saurabh Shinde attended the first 8-day residential Contact Programme of the one-year Certificate Course in Arts Practices for Inclusion™ (API) by Snehadhara Foundation, Bengaluru.

Through an immersive journey of movement, music, drama, visual arts, rhythm, play, and reflective practices, we experienced how the arts can become powerful tools for inclusion, communication, participation, and holistic development.

More than learning new techniques, this programme encouraged us to rethink how we connect with every child—with empathy, creativity, and respect for individual differences.

We return inspired, enriched, and excited to weave these practices into our work with neurodivergent children, families, educators, and our community.

Here's to making inclusion more meaningful—one creative experience at a time. 💙🎨🌿

Every child deserves to be seen. Every family deserves support. Every community deserves hope. 💙

The Sobati Project is expanding its journey across the PCMC West zone under the ICDS Child Development Project, bringing early childhood development support closer to children, families, and Anganwadi communities.

Our journey began by partnering with dedicated Anganwadi workers through capacity-building sessions, strengthening their understanding of early identification and developmental support. Together, we took our first steps into the community.

During our initial Anganwadi visit, we engaged with 25 children and identified 5 children who may benefit from additional developmental support and follow-up. These aren't just numbers—they represent children who now have an opportunity to receive support earlier, when it can make the greatest difference.

This is why Sobati exists: to work alongside families, empower communities, and ensure no child is left behind simply because support came too late.

As we continue our work across ICDS Child Development Project – PCMC West, we're building stronger communities where every child is recognised, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Because every child's journey deserves the right beginning. 💙
