This Independence Day, the Centres of Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK)came alive with the colours of patriotism, joy, and togetherness. ❤️🇮🇳

With little hands holding the Tricolour, innocent smiles lighting up the celebrations, and young voices singing for the nation, our children reminded us that **the true spirit of freedom lies in giving every child the opportunity to dream, learn, grow, and build a brighter future. 🌈✨

From flag hoisting and patriotic songs to vibrant cultural performances, every moment was filled with pride and emotion. 🇮🇳

Today, we celebrate not only the freedom of our nation, but also the freedom to dream without limits and the courage to turn those dreams into reality. 💫

Because every child deserves a childhood filled with hope, dignity, and endless possibilities. ❤️

A Dream Realized: Together for Education: Deutsche Bank and Yuva Unstoppable Bring STEM to BSSK

With the generous support of Deutsche Bank and in collaboration with Yuva Unstoppable, Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra proudly inaugurated its STEM Lab on 18th July! 🎉
We are deeply grateful to Deutsche Bank for not only extending its support to this initiative but also for coordinating with Yuva Unstoppable and making this dream a reality for our children. Their commitment to creating meaningful educational opportunities has enabled us to establish a space where young minds can learn, experiment, and thrive.
This STEM Lab will provide our students with hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, fostering curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong interest in science.
We are confident that this initiative will inspire our students to explore, innovate, and discover the endless possibilities that science has to offer.

Ashadhi Wari was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all centres of Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK)! 🙏✨

Our children joyfully participated in the traditional Dindi, dressed in beautiful cultural attire and immersed themselves in the spirit of devotion and togetherness. The celebrations included the sacred Ringan, heartfelt chanting of Lord Vitthal's name, the rhythmic beats of cymbals, and joyful traditional games like Fugdi.

The innocence, smiles, and boundless enthusiasm on every child's face made these moments truly unforgettable. Through such celebrations, we continue to nurture our children's connection with our rich cultural heritage, values, and sense of community.

Celebrating Learning, Leadership, and Togetherness! 🌈

Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK) successfully organized Balak Palak Shala and Parent-Child Meet at its centers.

Parents were introduced to the Basic Literacy Program and its role in nurturing children's social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development. Through interactive activities and games, parents experienced firsthand how learning can be engaging and impactful.

A special highlight of the event was seeing children confidently guide their parents through various activities, showcasing their communication skills, leadership qualities, and growing self-confidence.

Parents enthusiastically participated alongside their children and shared positive feedback about the remarkable changes they have observed in them.

As a part of our commitment to nature and sustainability, tree plantation activities were organized across all Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK) centres with the enthusiastic participation of our children.

With tiny hands and big dreams, our children planted saplings, learned about environmental conservation, and pledged to protect our planet for future generations. Each tree planted today stands as a symbol of hope, growth, and our shared responsibility towards Mother Earth.

At BSSK, we believe that nurturing children goes hand in hand with nurturing the environment. Together, we are creating a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.

📚✨ Empowering Young Minds Through Education! ✨📚

Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra, in partnership with Osborn Lippert India Private Limited under its CSR initiative, successfully organized a school kit distribution programme for deserving students at Yogeshwari School (Mount Valley), Wadgaon Kolhati.

As part of the Educational Support Programme, students received essential educational materials along with continued support through academic guidance, personality development sessions, and parent orientation programmes—helping them build a brighter future with confidence and hope.

We sincerely thank Osborn Lippert India Private Limited for their generous support and all the dignitaries, school authorities, teachers, parents, and students for making this initiative a great success.

🧘‍♀️🌿 Celebrating International Yoga Day 2026 🌿🧘‍♂️

On 22 June 2026, Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK) celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm across in all its centres and community

The day began with interactive sessions highlighting the importance of yoga and its benefits for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Children learned how regular yoga practice helps build a healthy lifestyle, improves concentration, enhances flexibility, and promotes inner peace.

The participants enthusiastically performed a variety of yoga postures, including Pranayama, Padmasana, Sukhasana, Tadasana, Bhujangasana, Trikonasana, and Surya Namaskar. To make the experience more engaging and enjoyable, yoga activities were also integrated with fun games, encouraging active participation and learning.

The joy, energy, and smiles on the children's faces reflected the positive impact of the session.

Through this meaningful celebration, children gained a deeper understanding of the importance of yoga and were inspired to incorporate healthy habits into their daily lives.

🌱 Building Strong Foundations for Adoption 🌱

BSSK Chiplun successfully hosted a Parent Preparation Workshop (PPW) on 13 June 2026, bringing together 29 parents from 17 prospective adoptive families.

The workshop provided an enriching platform for learning, reflection, and meaningful interaction. Highlights included a virtual medical session by Dr. Navrange, expert-led discussions on adoption, child care, parenting, and the responsibilities of adoptive parents, as well as inspiring interactions with adoptive families and an older adoptee.

These real-life experiences offered valuable insights and strengthened the confidence of parents preparing to embark on their adoption journey.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, resource persons, adoptive families, and the older adoptee for making this workshop impactful and successful.

🌟 From Dreaming Big to Cooking Bigger! 🍽️✨

Shubham Chavan's journey is a wonderful example of how determination, hard work, and the right support can transform dreams into reality.

A student of BSSK's Educational Support Program since Class 3, Shubham always dreamed of building a career in the hospitality industry. With his father working as a waiter in a hotel, he was inspired from a young age to become a hotel professional himself.

After completing Class 12, he chose to pursue Hotel Management under BSSK's Higher Education Support Program in 2017-18. Today, after gaining valuable experience in 3-star and 4-star hotels, Shubham is taking the next big step in his career as he moves to Goa to join a 5-star hotel.

Before leaving, he visited BSSK and met Tai. In a heartwarming gesture, he asked, "Tai, can I cook something nutritious for the children?" ❤️

Our South Indian cuisine specialist prepared delicious and healthy Pesarattu for the day care children and brought smiles to many faces. As he served the children, he lovingly said, "Call me anytime and I will make your favorite dishes for you." 😊

Now, Shubham embarks on a new journey to master Goan cuisine and expand his culinary expertise. We are immensely proud of his achievements and wish him every success in the years ahead.

May his dream of owning his own restaurant or hotel become a reality very soon! 🌟
