IASTAM India- Indian Association for Study of Traditional Asian Medicine IASTAM India is Indian chapter of IASTAM (International Association for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine), formally launched on 31st January 1980.

IASTAM is an important and only multidisciplinary organization in the country dedicated to the cause of Indian Systems of Medicine Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Yoga and Tibetan Medicine

Adopted from the preamble of International Association the India-Chapter has thrived to fulfill it objectives through various means ; mainly acting as a Catalytic organization and to provide a multidisciplinary platfo

rm to deliberate on issues and development of Indigenous systems of Medicines. Backed by the patronage of members from diverse fields it has reached the present strength of nearly 500 life members and successfully completed the journey of 33 years. IASTAM-India’ has celebrated their “SILVER JUBILEE” in the YEAR 2004-2005” ‘IASTAM Conclave’ was held on 30th and 31st Jan.2005 in Pune, India with the theme as: Transforming Traditions for Tomorrow's Health
