Mitr – A Friend Indeed is an organization comprising like-minded persons who have come together to work for the benefit of the weaker sections of society, and our primary focus is on child welfare and youth development. Our initiatives are aimed at increasing confidence levels among the less fortunate and encouraging them to attend school on a regular basis through the medium of interesting activi
ties, which they normally would not be exposed to. Providing them with opportunities to help them walk shoulder to shoulder with other individuals their age is also a part of our work plan.
‘Mitr – A Friend Indeed’ is based on the concept of voluntary involvement and friendship. Our outreach programmes are aimed at encouraging people, especially teenagers and young adults, to use their strengths for the benefit of society, thereby helping them discover their potential for action and transformation. For this, we organize various outreach projects for students and corporates.
