Dear Mitr Supporters,

Greetings from Mitr - A Friend Indeed!

During the last financial year, we were able to distribute over 400 hampers of groceries and assist with financial aid for academic purposes for 13 children studying at St Joseph School Ghorpuri, thanks to all our supporters.

This year too, Mitr hopes to reach out to lesser privileged families by providing them with grocery hampers to help them tide over the upcoming festive season, mainly Diwali and Christmas.

Each hamper is estimated at Rs.1,000/- and will tentatively contain:
4 kilos of rice
4 kilos of wheat flour
1 kilo tur dal
1 kilo moong dal
1 kilo salt
1 litre cooking oil
250 gms tea leaves
2 kilos sugar

We are also looking at helping students studying at St Joseph School, Ghorpuri with financial aid for academic support.

Dear Mitr Supporters,




*Mitr turns 7 today!* We extend our sincere gratitude to each of you who have been associated with Mitr in some way or the other and played a vital role in helping us over the years.

After the initial *52* and *103* grocery hampers that were distributed to families affected by the pandemic on the 20th of May, 2021, and the 31st of May, 2021, we were now able to reach out to *250 families* of performing artists who are currently out of jobs owing to the pandemic 😊

Each hamper contained 5 kilos of wheat flour, 3 kilos of rice, 1 kilo tur dal, 1 kilo masur dal, 1 kilo salt, 1 kilo sugar, 1 litre cooking oil, 1/4 kilo tea leaves and 4 packets of biscuits.

We now look forward to turning our attention towards helping students studying at St Joseph School, Ghorpuri with financial aid for academic support.

Dear Mitr Supporters,




After the initial *52* grocery hampers that were distributed to families affected by the pandemic on the 20th of May, 2021, today we reached out to *103 families* working in the brick kilns of Gawadewadi near Nande.

Each hamper contained 5 kilos of wheat flour, 3 kilos of rice, 3/4 kilo tur dal, 3/4 kilo masur dal, 1 kilo salt and 1 litre cooking oil.

We extend our sincere gratitude to each of our Mitr supporters who have helped us reach this target and to those who have supported Mitr in some way or the other 😊

We now look forward to providing grocery hampers to a group of performing artists who are out of jobs currently.

The pandemic has truly proved to be a difficult time for everyone. For some, the anxiety continues to build up, owing to a loss of jobs and illness. Mitr hopes to reach out to families facing a tough time by providing them with grocery hampers to help them tide over these unexpected times.

Each hamper is estimated at Rs.900/- and contains 5 kilos of rice, 5 kilos of wheat flour, 1 kilo tur dal, 1 kilo moong dal, 1 kilo salt, 1 litre cooking oil, 250 gms tea leaves and 2 kilos sugar.

Mitr hopes to reach out to families facing a tough time by providing them with grocery hampers to help them tide over these unexpected times.
