📢 Exciting News from Poona College of Arts, Science & Commerce! 🌟

AI Workshop for Teachers: Empowering Educators with Artificial Intelligence

On Saturday, 1st March 2025, Anjuman Khairul Islam’s Poona College of Arts, Science & Commerce, CAMP, Pune-411001, hosted an incredible hands-on workshop and Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled "Algnite: Empowering Teachers with Artificial Intelligence". Organized by the IQAC in association with the Department of Computer Science, this full-day event brought together over 100+ educators to explore the transformative potential of AI in education.

Led by the renowned AI Coach, Mr. Yaqoob Shaikh, from Innoverse and Mercy Foundation, the workshop provided practical, hands-on training to empower teachers with cutting-edge AI tools and techniques. Mr. Shaikh’s expertise and passion for AI made this an unforgettable learning experience, fostering innovation and equipping faculty with the skills to integrate AI into their teaching methodologies.

The event, held at the college’s state-of-the-art facilities, was a resounding success, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and inspiration among attendees. With Poona College’s A+ NAAC accreditation (2022–2027) and its legacy of excellence since 1970, this FDP underscored the institution’s commitment to advancing education through technology.
