All this does is confuse kids and add a layer of unnecessary mystery to a completely natural biological process. If we want the next generation to be confident and informed, we have to start by being real.

In Aundh across Kasturba Vasahat and Indira Vasahat change isn’t coming from the outside. It’s being led from within.

Through our Community Mobilisation (CM) Model, women like Rajshree Nikalje our Community Mobiliser at Badlaav SRF aren’t just participants, but leaders driving change in their own communities. By first making the switch themselves, they build trust, open up conversations, and inspire others to follow. 🌱

Why this matters:
A menstrual cup lasts up to 10 years. A cloth pad up to 3.
This isn’t just about saving money it’s about protecting our communities from long-term plastic waste.

​The first time many boys encounter the topic of periods, it’s through whispers or accidents leading to confusion and, unfortunately, ridicule. But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

​We’re breaking the silence and the stigma by bringing the conversation directly into the classroom. When we educate boys about menstrual health, we replace laughter with empathy and shame with support.
