Fate brought together these four personalities and this foundation was established. Mr Muralidaran, Dr Nidhi Pandya, Mrs Shraddha, Dr Tanvi Naik Shirodkar. Mr Muralidaran is a person who believes strongly in returning to the society whichever way possible. He believes each person should get access to good education and healthcare, but this pandemic highlighted the importance of health over anythin
g else and so he thought to do his bit in the healthcare sector. The first name that came into his mind was Dr Nidhi Pandya, his former homeopathic family physician. He knew Dr Nidhi is the one who can help him take this idea forward. Along with the experienced and knowledgeable doctor, Dr Nidhi is also a person who always thinks best for the people and is ready to help society in any way she can. Mr Muralidaran approached her right away and shared his vision and his inclination towards donating some funds for the betterment of society. Dr Nidhi was overwhelmed when Mr Muralidaran approached her for this social cause and at the same time very happy to know that such selfless people do exists who thinks about life and society differently. But she had no idea about how to utilize the funds. She also tried to connect with few NGOs and some local people who were involved in such activities but couldn’t get any lead. Suddenly one day a thought stroked Dr Nidhi’s mind “why not utilize these funds to help Autistic children!”. According to her, autistic child and parents have tough battle to win, they really don't have a road map ready for them. Carefully selected Homeopathic medicine brings about qualitative change at a wide range of symptoms
in children with autism. It also helps in behavior modification to reduce child’s hyperactivity, irritability etc. Thus it plays a distinct role in reducing or eliminating autistic features. She conveyed this idea to Mr. Muralidaran and he was quickly convinced and very excited to take this forward. Finally, with the vision of Mr Muralidaran and the expertise of Dr Nidhi, this foundation was established and taken forward with the joining of their third partner, Shraddha, a mother of a special child and a dear friend of Dr Nidhi. Shraddha, when contacted by Dr Nidhi Pandya for the first time regarding Het foundation, was pretty sure that she was going to join this motive as she herself had fought the battle for 6 long years for her daughter ‘Hetvi’ and along the time, she always had an urge to do something to help such kids whose parents either have inadequate funds for the treatment or who are in desperate need of right guidance and support. Unfortunately, Hetvi’s journey with us all in this world ended too soon but we all believe she is and always be our ‘Guiding Angel’ and so here is the foundation, named after her, “Het Foundation".
